Q: The measurements of the case here seem very big for a travel game - could someone give me the measurements of their travel Quirkle please.

Tanya, the game that I got, does not include a board. It includes a cloth bag and tiles. These tiles are Just smaller than regular Qwirkle tiles, and these are light weight plastic. I plan to use a foldable rubber-type grid to set on a flat surface when I play. Requiring a flat surface, limits it to more of a non-vehicle setting.

Q: how large is each tile?

The travel tiles are 3/4" square. I would love it if they were 1", but they are large enough - and much easier to have enough room on smaller tables.

I only have the travel set. However, the tiles are easy enough to handle and the colors and shapes are easy enough to tell apart. The travel tiles are painted wood, not plastic.

Addictive game for the whole family.

I bought it looking at its existing ratings on amazon and have found it completely worth buying.Since its all about shapes , patterns , colors it is a very inclusive game and everyone in my family has found it interesting.I originally bought it for my 6.5 year old child but the adults have taken a bigger liking to it.It is indeed a travel pack and all you need is a flat surface to get going.
