The School for Good and Evil #5: A Crystal of Time Paperback – Illustrated, 5 Mar. 2019

The story takes an interesting turn in this book. I'm looking forward to seeing how it will finally end. Hopefully book 6 won't take too long to come

I loved everything in this book but the cilff hanger was one of the most annoying I've ever read. Do not read without reading the first four books.

Definitely recommend this if you’ve read the other 4. If you haven’t read the other books it’ll be hard to understand

Da der vorherige Band mit einem offenen Ende endet, ist dieses Buch unverzichtbar, wenn man wissen will, wie es denn nun weiter geht. Und ebenso wie seine Vorgänger ist dieses Buch fantastisch! Die Geschichte zieht einen sofort in ihren Bann und ein Ereigniss folgt auf das nächste. Durch überraschende Wendungen, Perspektivenwechsel und alte Geheimnisse wird die Spannung durchgehend aufrechterhalten. Man erfährt Neues über die Ursprünge der altbekannten Bösewichte, während der allgegenwärtige Feind hinter der Fassade weiter seine Intrigen spinnt. Langsam weiß niemand mehr, wem er trauen kann, denn Wahrheit wird Lüge, Böse wird gut, in dem Kampf gegen Rhian und seinen Stift. Schließlich kommt die Geschichte zum Finale, dass mit weiteren Überraschungen für unerwartete Spannung sorgt. Auch jetzt ist nicht klar, wer schlussendlich siegen wird...Ich erwarte bereits gespannt das Erscheinen des nächsten Buches!

I would have rated it higher but.....started reading the series with my 11 year old granddaughter...got to the end of book 4 and saw there was a book 5 due out in about 6 months...so we waited and finally received book 5....assuming this finished the series...got to the end and realized the storyline has not finished with no mention of when book 6 might be released....shades of george r r martin!!!!!....grrrrrrrr....have totally lost interest as, I believe, so has my granddaughter

The first book in this series was a great inspiration. The tired old school trope reworked into something progressive. However, the longer the series goes, the more tired it gets and the more it seems to rely on plothangers to keep the readers attuned. There feels no central theme to the story any longer and no permanent growth to the characters.

Ich wollte dieses Buch zum Geburtstag meiner Enkelin verschenken. Bei eingehender Prüfung der Lieferung musste ich feststellen, dass de Buchseiten über keinen sauberen Schnitt aufwiesen. Ansonsten war die Lieferung in einem guten Zustand. Rücksendung.
