Not for 981
Will not fit a Porsche 981 boxster. When you refund the searches on Amazon, this pops up as one of the ones that will work on a 981 boxster Cayman. Unfortunately, this is too large and probably for an older model. The list of vehicles should be corrected.

Perfect Fit for 2002 Boxster
Installed it on my 2002 986. Perfect fit. It also has a good size integrated foam sealing edge. Nice firm fit.I will be buying another one of these in 30K miles..... heck you can replace it 2X vs Porsche OEM part price.

Quality product for a great price
Excellent construction and perfect fit. It included installation instructions written so as to apply to all Porsches that it fits in. That makes the directions somewhat vague, but I didn't have any difficultly figuring out the omitted steps -- and I started with having no clue where the filter went!

Fraction of price
Although the delivery time is longer than I would have wanted this filter is worth the wait.I removed the OEM filter to compare - no real difference.Easy to install - instruction included or go videos on You Tube.

Looks just as good as OEM ones, good price, fast ship, would buy it again in few years. Takes 5-10min

Does NOT fit a 2015 Boxster S!
The filter from my car measures 8in x 9.5in. The one I received measures 6.5in x 12.5in. There's no way it will fit.

Easy to replace and fit was spot on.

Fit and happy for the money.
Nice rigid plastic bottom fit in my 2003 911 tight and feels like good quality for the money, tried the mann filter and was flimsy and squished together when I put it in. This one seems to be better fit.

Its a cabin filter.
911 - 2000- cabrio. Easy to install good fit. doesn't look like it filters as "fine" as the mahle that I usually use , but the car isnt driven in dusty conditions and is parked indoors .Im more fussy about the engine air filter lol.

As good or better than OEM
Fits perfectly, car smells fresh. Why waste money at the dealer when you can install this in 5 minutes or less!
