I have allergies. I suspected the itchy eyes, frequent sneezing were related to our dogs. I didn't want to get rid of our animals, but it was coming, if something didn't change. I used allergy eye drops and antihistamines nothing seemed to last. I have had this filter now for about two weeks. I haven't been using additional antihistamines nor the eye drops and my 3 large Mastiffs still rule the household.The filter sits at my desk which is in the livingroom where the dogs usually are camped out beside me or on the furniture. It has one button to push for low, which I keep it at or push it again for high. Easy to use. I wipe down the sides where the dust accumulates around the intake vents with a Clorox wipe and keeps it clean.I recommend this Mooka Air Purifier.

While a good product (it seemed to work) there are not replacement filters available. I even emailed the company, who appears to be overseas somewhere, and had a conversation going with them and then they just quit writing me back one day regarding the filters. They seemed to have no idea. Since obviously one should replace a dirty filter (it is an air purifier after all) I would not purchase this based on that.

We wanted something that is quiet, not bulky, yet effective. My husband has multiple allergies, like dust and pollen. We have carpets everywhere in the house and even though I vacuum the floor almost every day, there is dust in the air. So, I use this air purifier in the living room during the day and in the bedroom at night. I also tried it in the kitchen one time to help remove cooking odors when our guests were cooking meat and it got burned. It seems to be working. Its more suitable for small areas, in my opinion, or to put one in each room for more effectiveness. The price is pretty affordable too in comparison to other ones I’ve seen. Viva Amazon! I also like that it looks sleek, blends well with any interior design. I normally use it on a quiet mode in the bedroom at night and on a normal mode during the day. Overall, we are happy with the product and would recommend it to others.

Update: I've been using this for over a week and I am thoroughly impressed. Although I have yet to bring home my new kitten, I already notice how the air in my room seems fresher and lack of any sort of smells. The unit has also been functioning as a white noise machine for me, which it blocks out traffic noise from the highway behind my house. I would gladly recommend this to anyone who wants an effective and compact air purifier!It’s my first night using it, so we shall see exactly how useful it is. I bought this air purifier in anticipation of a new kitten I am bringing home in the near future.I must say that “quiet mode” is very quiet. I am used to sleeping with a box fan and this is probably half the level of a standard fan.I’m impressed with the unit itself, it’s sleek and looks coffee-pot esque. It’s power requirements are also very reasonable, which is nice to have an energy efficient product.I will be sure to fill in any additional details if something changes along the way, but for now I’ll enjoy some cleaner air!

I have 2 cats and 1 dog in my home. My family suffers from terrible allergies and this air purifier has been wonderful at combating all of the dander in the air! I also live in a very old home with a stinch so to speak and I have noticed that the air isn’t holding that anymore which is wonderful when I have company. I am highly impressed with these purifiers! I put one in my bedroom and one in my living room.

I bought this for my bedroom which is an attic. I've coughing since I moved into this house which has been almost 2 months, and I've been wondering why my cough is not getting any better with all those medicines I've been taking. My housemate threw the idea that maybe an air purifier might help, that maybe I'm not really sick but it's actually coming from my room which is totally possible since this house is more than 100 years old and wood flooring in my room has huge gaps in between and there are piles and piles of old dust. I received it yesterday and last night was the first night in 2 months that I didn't wake up in the middle of the night coughing. Thank you Mooka, this product has saved my life!!! There were cheaper air purifiers with also good reviews on Amazon, but I chose Mooka over them because I liked the design and I was looking for black than white since I already have too much white in my room. I love this product!!

I've been having problems with my asthma acting up the last 2 months and was looking for an air purifier to help me sleep better. I've had it in my bedroom for the past 2 nights. I have already experienced less coughing and have woken up without the usual tightness in my chest. I'm so happy! I like that it is compact, and I'm hoping to travel with it as well. My boyfriend's roommate smokes and has a dog and a cat, so I'm hoping to bring it with me when I visit him. I like that it has 2 settings: normal and quiet. The quiet mode is still a bit noisy, but it sounds like a fan is on in the room, so it's a bit of white noise. My only complaint is the light on the device is bright in the dark of my bedroom. I will need to put a piece of black tape over the light so it doesn't bother me at night.
