It worked great in my office for about a week. Once per day I connected it to my computer, downloaded the videos, re-set the date and time, and then plugged it back in to its spy location. Now all of a sudden it doesn't show up on my computer any more. The computer recognizes the device and installs driver software, but no external drive shows up. Functional for one week is better than never functional, so I'll give it two stars.When it works, the unit records video only when you plug it into a POWER-ONLY USB port, like the AC-to-USB adapter it comes with. When you plug it in to your computer's USB port it becomes a thumb drive and you can view/delete videos and change the TAG.txt settings, but it will NOT record any new video from a computer's USB port.I give it 4 stars (not any more) for not spelling this out in the instructions, and for the hassle of having to set the date and time in a text file, rather than reading date and time automatically from the computer.

Easy to use gave it a 4 because you must plug usb to top of charger if not images will record upside down.

The motion detection setting is easy to set up but doesn't work very well. This camera does NOT store the video files that it takes. It'll show that there are so many files, but when you click on them to watch them, there is nothing there but a blank screen. This is very frustrating because we just want to catch on video whomever it is that has been breaking into our house while we're gone at work. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.
