What else could you ask for?
The price is great and I got it on discount. Great knife, the handle construction, the feel, ease to open, ease to close, sharp, sturdy, this is a working man's knife. I like the look, nothing fancy, not overdone. This is my first CJRB and I will definitely be getting more. I already ordered the larger version.

little bigger, little heavier, extra lock
it is an awesome slightly larger and slightly heavier pyrite "lite". nice blade shape, fun to fidget with, and has a secondary lock.

Quality control seems to be hit or miss at times.
I own 2 of these but would buy another if one broke today. That's how much I like the knife but quality control seems to be hit or miss at times. The first one out the box was so perfect I thought I'd try the large variant of the same color but action was really stiff and the lock would stick and didn't have the same quality feeling of the light version that I purchased first. I returned that one and got this one. While the action and break in time was great, the bevel is uneven. Beyond aesthetics the blade is really sharp.

Best bang for your buck
The media could not be loaded. Not really a review writer but I’ll give it a shot. Spent 3 days looking for what i wanted and this was perfect. Right in my price range but still a great knife. Feels a lot like I’d imagine a benchmade would feel like. That’s exactly what i was looking for. Maybe a tad bit heavier than that but not noticeable at all in your pocket. Very thin and the perfect size for my hand. Had to pick this one over their slightly smaller model. Flips right open and shut while pressing the silver button. The black button locks it both open or closed. Could do without this button but it doesn’t really get in my way at all so who cares, it’s an added feature so I’m cool with it. The white color is totally the way to go. The black blade doesn’t seem to scratch or wear so far but we’ll see. Came pretty sharp, i could cut a piece of paper easily but the “standing paper test” didn’t work. I’d assume it would work if i sharpened it. Perfect knife for carrying without spending a couple hundred bucks so I’m PUMPED. Good stuff!!

CJRB Pyrite Light
The media could not be loaded. I see a lot of knife reviewers comment bout not liking the extra security lock. Personally, I like it on a full size knife like this. A plunge knife has great fightability but they aren’t the strongest locks. The extra lock just adds an extra layer of safety. This knife is great value. The steel stays sharp for a good amount of time and it’s super easy to sharpen. For $40 it is hard to find a better knife. Great user knife.

feels great in the hand.
Love it. great size. I slice a lot of card board and its pull thru really well. I do like that I can lock it with the second button however its a little to close to the main button. I end up hitting them both at same time. but just like any knife you get learn the finger placement and it not a problem.

Great knife
Would be 5 stars but the safety for it sucks.... I removed mine and now it functions like it should.

Nice budget EDC
I’m happy with both the Pyrite Large Lite and the regular Pyrite Lite. The Large has the safety which I accidentally engage sometimes but otherwise they are both great and super slicey. I’m a fan of Ultem and the Amber FRN is actually a pretty good looking substitute for it.
