New Cat Condos Large Cat Bed

My cat used to LOVE hiding in cat barrels when he was younger. Then he grew to his full adult size, and could no longer fit his long, tall body into the tiny 12-13" diameter cat barrels most companies seem to sell (have the people who design them that small ever even seen a cat?!?). So I was *delighted* to finally find a barrel big enough for an adult male cat!This barrel is really well-designed -- the inner structure is wood, not cardboard, so it is much more chew-resistant than a standard cat barrel. It did have a strong chemical smell when it first arrived, so I left it in the closet to out-gas for a week - there's still a slight smell now if I put my face really close to it, but it doesn't seem to bother my cat, who went into it within 30 seconds of me setting it on the ground and has spent endless time in there since!He fits with plenty of room, even though he is a very big boy. I think even a larger breed like a Maine Coon would have no trouble using this. The opening hole is big enough too so that a large cat can actually get through it into the barrel. I am so glad somebody has finally made a barrel for larger cats!A word on the color: Every color on this page has two pictures. Some colors have one picture with a cat sitting on a condo, and one of the condo without a cat. The picture of a condo *without* a cat is the one that accurately shows the color you will get. So if you see a cat on a chocolate brown condo, but it's labeled "beige" trust the label instead of the picture - your condo will look like the OTHER (cream-colored, no cat in picture) picture for beige.

My cats absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this condo. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the colors are not exact from the picture and neither is the cut out. The cut out is a square not a diamond shape. Otherwise it is sturdy and cats love it!

This cave was cheaper than anything else I found, but the quality is wonderful. There's plush carpeting ALL AROUND the inside (unlike other caves that have no inner-wall carpet, or just a spot on the back wall for looks). It's true that I didn't get the color I ordered, but I like the color I got - so no problem. The company sends you their own order confirmation immediately, so you might try calling them to discuss what colors they currently have available. There's a strong smell immediately out of the box, I think these are probably made & shipped the same day so it might be the glue?? A few hours out on the deck and the smell was completely gone.The cave is big, sturdy, and VERY well made. I was so pleasantly surprised that I called the company to say thanks. I think the guy I talked to thought I was a little nuts, but I was really happy! :)

I needed to replace the first Cat Cave I purchased after 2 1/2 years - my cat uses it for scratching despite having 5 sisal rope scratch posts and it was looking pretty ratty. Guess it beats having her destroy my rugs. Zoey loves to curl up on the top of the cave and with her former cave, she would occasionally nap inside. It is also her go to for carpet scratching.The problems:1. Ordered beige which was shown to be Ivory and received ugly light brown. No resemblance to color shown in the Amazon image - not even close.2. Bare patches of missing rug on the edges.3. No contact info provided for company on Amazon page and when I sent message to company via Facebook, I never received a response.

This seems like a no-brainer: A round carpeted cat house.However, the first time my cat sharpened her nails on it,carpet came loose and fell out. It's a good idea, but notwell-made and not a good product. I won't reorder one from here.

Absolutely wonderful product!!! I could not find anything locally at the pet shops and I am so pleased with the quality and size of this product. This cat cubby is large and can accommodate even the largest of kitties. I bought 3 of them and I highly recommend any cat owner that is seeking a quality cat hideaway to have no reservations in purchasing this for their kitty!!! It arrived quickly and packed securely in individual boxes. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!!!!!

Purchased this item for my two Netherland Dwarf rabbits to look out the window and have a place to chill. They absolutely love this!! It is the perfect height and size for them to jump onto the top or lay down inside to chill. They love to "groom" the carpet and can both fit inside or on the top together. I highly recommend this QUALITY product for indoor RABBITS that do not chew up carpet.

My cat loves it! Nicely made, however, be sure to feel around the entire interior and exterior, there were a few areas that had an excessive amount of loose staples that can be dangerous to your pet. I removed some and hammered some in so they did not protrude. Other than that, my chunky kitty squeezes herself inside it and curls up on top.
