Sturdy, lightweight, inexpensive underwater mount and lights for the GoPro.
I made a few minor changes to more securely mount a pair of Suptig's lights and the GoPro on this ,mount, took it snorkeling in Cozumel, and got great shots for a beginner. Excellent lighting for fish within a few feet, very dimensional. The changes I made were to add aluminum & stainless steel mounts and a wrist strap with carabiner that attaches to a waist belt for when I need both hands to swim. The mount is nicely made, packs flat, does the job. About a C note with the two lights, very reasonable. And by the way, the lights worked well for long swims, recharged properly, did not leak at all.

These products worked Like a charm
The frame and the dive lights worked like a charm on my three tank dive trip in Bali. I am thrilled at the difference between my videos with and without these lights. The lights were still buring brightly after 2.5 hours of bottom time. The frame and the lights are lightweight and fit comfortably into my cabin bag which I put under the seat in front of me on the airpplaces. The reasons that I didn't give it 5-stars are as follows, (1) neither of the boxes for the the dive lights nor the frame contained the screws to connect the lights to the frame. Fortunately, zip ties worked well enough in the short term. (2) there were no operating instructions for the dive lights, nor were there any specs about max depth or anything else, (3) one of the charger cords doesn't appear to be charging properly so I had to charge one light, and then the other. Fortunately, I had the time to do that, but if I were diving every day, I don't know if I would have to get up during the night to switch the lights onto the one good cord. I have not yet contacted the company to get a new cord.

Quality and affordable underwater system.
The media could not be loaded. For a low cost underwater camera / video system this works well. It is easy to travel with, I used it with a go pro 13 and it worked great.

Easy to Use; Great Design
Bet they didn't think this review would include a circa 1980's Nikonos V underwater film camera.. just goes to show the breadth of experience some of us here on Vine have with differing technologies! While this set-up would totally work in many scenarios, the size and needs of traditional underwater strobes wouldn't be a great fit on this rig. Was fun to try this, though! That said, the intended usage for this is quite good! I have an Insta360x4 mounted on mine for typical usage and the photos. This set-up would be perfect for filming diving activities for sure! While I don't yet have small form underwater video lights, this does seem to check the boxes. The unit itself is made from a single piece of aluminum machined to excellent tolerances. The main mounting platform (in the film camera world, this would be referred to as the tray) allows the camera to be mounted in the middle of he rig. There are 2 cold shoe adapters at either end for mounting lights or whatever you might need. There are a few cut-outs along the rig - me thinks for either lanyards or maybe for weight savings? In any event, this is well thought out.The unit comes with a lanyard however I probably wouldn't use the one supplied as it doesn't seem sturdy/robust enough to suit my needs. When dealing with underwater items like this, a stronger-than-you-think attachment system is recommended always as weird things happen when certain items get wet... especially so with salt water!Moulded to the sides are silicone grips and, in my opinion, the weakest link of the system. What I mean is that while these are somewhat textured, the whole grip should be [more aggressively] textured instead of only the outer surfaces. When diving - and especially in salt water, your hands become very soft and the need for more grip is crucial. This is my biggest sticking point - however not enough to downgrade to 4 Stars. I will revisit this review after I get some bottom time with this and report back if the grips do cause issues.A little about me - I might sound opinionated and maybe I am.. but, I have scads of experience in underwater photography and underwater video going back to the late 1970's and early 1980's. I started teaching Underwater Photography in the late 1980's and got my Instructor's Certification for UW Photography in 1990 and my UW Video a short time later. In 2018 I went ahead and applied for my Digital Photography Instructor Certification to round-out that genre for myself. I have included images of my PADI Credentials here but have removed some personal data from them.

Cold shoe about a mm too small
It was a nice rig that I really wanted to keep, but one of the cold shoe slots was about a mm too small off of spec, and I could not mount a light. It was odd, because the other slot worked just fine. I don't know if the one I got was just poorly CNCed and was defective, or if they are all like that. I did like that there was a screw hole in the cold shoe slots for security, but if the slot is slightly too small - that doesn't do any good 🤷‍♂️UPDATE: I ordered another, and it had the exact same problem. This is an issue with the design. As you can see in the picture, the right cold shoe slot is too small.
