I ordered this set to cut my husbands hair in the summer months. My husband keeps his hair in a military fade during the hottest months of the year, and when the barber he has used for years retired he asked me to order a set for him to to try himself. My husband is a very fit and handsome man and I just hate to see him butcher his hair so I have excepted the duties every two weeks. The clippers are full featured, and feel quite good in the hand. They do not vibrate excessively at high rpm like the previous set I had years ago. the guides seem accurate to industry standards though I am an artist by trade and no professional stylist, the guide numbers correspond to the guide numbers the barber used and I'm doing a great job if I do say so myself. He is the only use I have currently for the set but my three grandsons are on the way and we may explore some with those little dudes. The clippers are really quite nice to use.

This HIENA PRO Cordless Hair Clipper Set is okay, just not what I really needed. The set came inside a neat zippered case that arrived in a clear plastic baggy. There are two clippers, both a smaller size than my normal set of clippers that I use to cut my husband's and son's hair. See my pic where I placed my old clipper on the bottom for comparison. (Note the size of the blade covers next to each other.) These clippers work okay. I wouldn't say they are professional quality. There is a very limited set of blade guards, all of which leave the hair very short. (6 mm is the longest.) I think this set might work best for those who prefer their hair very short, or for those that are trimming hair on other parts of the body, where the smaller size of the clipper and blade might actually be an advantage.

These are mini versions of popular, time-tested designs. Their size wasn't immediately apparent; kind of a shock to see a standard Wahl style clipper at 3/4 size! (you could use these for a forced-perspective trick photography, or LoTR/Harry Potter re-creation of giants ;])Come in a nice quality woven nylon zippered case. The clippers themselves aren't pro quality by any stretch.. The guards' plastic is flimsy but good enough, the steel is adequate. I'd still expect a lot of life from these with proper care. [oil is included] At this price point [$20 with coupon?!], the whole set is a steal. The full range of depth adjustment didn't quite work due to alignment issues with the blades, but that's a nitpick; there's still four usable fine adjust levels. The teeth are pretty shallow, but again: compromises for size and price.Performance from both units was excellent, even on thicker hair. Speed of cutting is fast, and noise is also probably 3/4 (maybe 1/2) of that of full-size clippers.Downside might be finding compatible accessories or replacement blades. At this price? Buy a backup set.Competes quite favorably with the 'scaping/sculpting razors out there, and the battery level display is a great value-add. If you really need ceramic blades, these fall short. Otherwise high recommend. 5 stars

There small and for beginners I was mislead to believe they were full sized clippers

I tried to trim my beard with the big clippers. Not good. It could trim the lighter parts on the side, but on the main part of my beard around the chin, all it could do is jam and pull the hair. I gave up. It was unpleasant. The smaller trimmer worked fine. There is a use for that. I also doubt the clipper would be good for hair unless you are giving everyone buzz cuts. The hair bulk depth would give you a 1/4" pile using the included guards. Also, the big clipper is not a full size clipper. It's like a 3/5ths or maybe 4/5ths size from a full size clipper. I have a Whal and that is what I used to finish trimming my beard. It would be a disappointing gift. I don't know, maybe doing haircuts while camping or hiking but not really for home use.

These are smaller than I thought, but do a good job in a pinch. I like the trimmers the most for the back of the neck and around the ears. All in all they are a descent set and would really be useful for children. It takes longer with my big head...lol

Really nice set -- has all the bits and bobs that you could need for keeping hair trimmed all over. It's pretty quiet and being USB rechargeable is a gift. Easy to get going with if you've ever used any clippers, and a pretty nice carry / storage case as well.Phenomenal value for the set, and it seems nicer than it probably is. I can't speak to the longevity of it of course just yet, but we don't need clippers too often so great to have on hand.

There is even a cape, albeit quite thin, in the case. The quality of the accessories seems flimsy and the clipper blades have grease residue (assuming for lubricants). But for the price it seems a value set.
