Tasty medium-light roast of Colombian beans
Good with filter and aeropress. Better black but can take milk. Doesn't have that big caramel thing that some colombian beans do but has some interesting flavours.Coming back to my review after some months, this is still great coffee, much better than it has any right to be for the price. It's a little sour (acidic) but really decent.

Good value but not top end
These appear to be commodity beans roasted to perfection, by which I mean that the roast quality applied by Booths is even and excellent, they were roasted two weeks before they were handed to me which was also surprisingly good; however, the raw ingredient isn't specialty grade and that can’t be overcome by what is otherwise a well processed coffee. If I wasn't fussy and wanted the best bang-for-buck in a classic columbian cup, this is a good choice for a medium-light roast. If you're hoping for a cheap alternative to specialty roasters, this isn't it and I've not found anything better than something like James Gourmet or Union (when purchased direct, roasted-on-the-day of shipping,) for something resembling reasonable prices for the best sourced coffees.

Flavourful Columbian Coffee - If you like that
It's a good Columbian coffee, a balanced roast with that classic Columbian taste standing out.If you really like the flavour of that sort of coffee, perhaps for a Cafetiere, then this is one for you.Personally I use beans in my Bean to Cup coffee machine mostly for lattes and cappuccinos and while this coffee does these okay, IMHO (subjective of course) this is probably not the right bean for a tasty latte and the notes don't pair so well with the milk. That said, good quality coffee from Booths - never stale.

A bit disappointed
I have to say I was quite disappointed with Booths Columbian Roast Coffee Beans. The flavour was very underwhelming and lacked the depth and complexity that I expect from a good quality coffee. The beans also seemed quite stale and lacked the freshness that is essential for a great cup of coffee. In terms of value, I don't think these beans are worth the price. While they may be a bit cheaper than some other brands, the lack of flavour and freshness make them a poor choice.

Horrible flavour
We try new beans all the time and these were the worst in a long time. Unpleasant for both espresso and pourover.

Fresh great tasting coffee beans !
Great tasting coffee beans. For years now coffee beans don't seem to have the good flavour I expect.Columbian beans seem to have the best flavour of any but these beans are superb ! Buy them all the time now. The taste is like coffee beans you used to be able to buy from coffee roasting shops.Fresher I think than the prepacked beans and ground coffee from supermarkets.Great product !
