Great pillow..
I bought this pillow twice a long time ago. Back then, it was a bit larger and as I recall, a bit softer. This one seems a bit too firm at first, but as it’s used for awhile it breaks in and gets a lot more comfortable. I think it’s overpriced, but I have 2 herniated discs in my neck, so my pillow must maintain the alignment of my neck to prevent stiffness and pain. The pillow is approx 5” high, which is the low height standard. It’s the best pillow so far, to provide me with the alignment and comfort I need. I also sleep through the night much better with it, so I do recommend it, especially for those who have neck problems..

Good for someone with neck problems, if you can tolerate a firm pillow
Good product, however, it’s very firm and does take a little getting used to. It helped me tremendously with my neck problems, for me it was a very good purchase. Pillows are a pretty personal item, hard to say if it would be good for somebody else.

Review for Previous Symphony owners on the fence!
So this review is for those who have previously owned the Symphony, given all the current debate in the reviews. This pillow is NOT like the previous Symphony. I have owned the symphony all the way back to my first in 2009.HOWEVER...it's not all bad. I still like this new version.I definitely like the price of this Amazon order compared to the $99 tempur-pedic store tag (which are currently out of stock and have to be shipped anyways). Even on a BOGO at the tempur-pedic store. The “Very Good Used" I bought beats that price and was in pristine condition when it arrived. The shape is still the iconic Symphony look. The shape is what I have always loved, it's perfect for back and side sleeping. The loft seems ever so slightly lower, but still adequate. If the lower loft bothers you I suggest supplementing the height with a Bamboo Miracle pillow underneath (with most of the shredded foam removed). This works for watching TV in bed or needing the occasional extra height. The foam weight and density are the primary differences. This symphony is noticeably lighter. It just doesn't have that heft the earlier ones did.The nature of this new foam feels different against the head. If you're trying to compare in stores and don't have access to a Symphony, the softness and density of this molded foam compares to the cloud. The old Symphony in my opinion is more like the current Pro Adapt models. All this being said, so far (a week in) I like this new model better. I easily develop neck and sciatic pain with the wrong pillow support. I have always favored soft to the touch pillows but end up missing the support the lack.I loved my original Symphonys. They are the only pillows in my purchases that have made it to the 5 year mark on their warranty. But after the symphony redesign, all the negative reviews caused me to seek other pillows. I tried so many; the Kohl's Big One side sleeper, The Lucid hybrid, Serta, the Sleep Angel, The Miracle Bamboo Pillow etc...etc...They always last about a year (if I'm lucky) and I move on to a new one. I finally got sick of the failure and figured the higher price tag and mixed reviews of tempur-pedic was worth going back to.Bottom-Line - This pillow has a soft feel but it still supports my head and neck. It has the iconic tempur sink and collapse but with a spring'ier response back after lifting up. It doesn't have as firm or dense a feel against the head, so if that was your thing on the previous model...this might not be for you. It really does have a “cloud” effect. It holds you there, but you don't notice a push back. I personally like the new feel..but I was the type that secretly wished the original felt softer.I have noticed using this pillow I am out cold for the night. Others I toss and turn and adjust and never really hit that deep sleep. That makes it a great buy for myself! I will be curious to see how the cloud foam holds up over time. My worry is if it starts soft...and most foam softens over time, I may lose that needed support. Time will tell.*UPDATE - item started causing a lot of neck and shoulder pain. It was returned. On to try the Serta Perfect Curve and the Ikea KLUBBSPORRE

Best pillow I’ve ever slept on
This pillow is incredibly comfortable and supportive! It strikes the perfect balance between soft and firm, and I wake up feeling well-rested with no neck pain. The quality is top-notch, and it holds its shape really well. Whether you’re a back, side, or stomach sleeper, this pillow delivers amazing comfort. I’m so glad I found it—highly recommend for a great night’s sleep!

Outstanding pillow!
It’s not super soft as I was expecting, but it’s sooo nice! The pillow really conforms to my head and offers outstanding support. This is the nicest pillow I’ve ever owned. With my old pillow I would move between side sleeping and stomach sleeping throughout the night. With this pillow I remain on my side the entire night. I sleep better now.I don’t usually pay this much for a pillow, but this was worth every penny.

Not what it used to be at all
This pillow is absolute trash. I wish I listened to the other bad reviews. I first got the Tempur-pedic symphony pillow in 2011 and had it until recently. It was the perfect pillow and I never had any neck pain when using it. But it was old and getting gross so I decided to throw it away and get a new one. Worst mistake of my life. The new one is nothing like the old one. It's hard to explain but this one is harder and lighter and when you press down on it it takes longer to return to original form, so it gets super flat while sleeping. Not like the old one that would conform perfectly and instantly and was firm but also soft at the same time. My neck started hurting within minutes of laying on it and I couldn't get comfortable at all. If you are looking to replace your old one just don't. You're probably thinking what I did - I'm sure it's not that much different, how bad could it be? Trust me, it's an absolute crap pillow now.

Smaller than usual but comfortable
Very comfortable feel but the size is a lot smaller than I thought it would be.

Favorite pillow!
These pillows last for years without losing support. I love that one side is more convex (perfect for back sleeping), while the other side is flatter (perfect for side sleeping). I have these pillows on all of the beds in the house and will always repurchase. The price for a set of two on Amazon was half the price I paid at the mattress store. These are the best!
