Patients and low heat to melt
Patience is key with these things. Works best ifyou slide the connector over the wire and then strip the wire back, Twist the bare of the two wires together. Then slide the connector over. I use a propane torch to melt them. But have to be careful to not apply full heat because it will melt the insulation before the solder if it heats too quickly. But overall I am happy with them and they are better than the crimp style connectors.

OK
Not sure I trust them completely yet but they do seem to be OK

takes getting used to
After I tried a few times I got used to these. It's not obvious when the solder melts. I ended up looking for two things 1.) when the shrink tubing compressed the ring of solder it was clear that it had melted. 2.) put on some strong reading glasses and look for the solder wicking into the wires. Also make sure the colored ring melts and seals the wire insulation to the heat shrink tube. Once I got the hang of that these work great.

Works but be carfull.
They work great, but be carful of your heat source. Use a blow dryer or something mild with heat flame. Normal butane solder lighter will melt the solder to fast and the crimp will fail. Not the fault of the crimp, just to much heat to fast. Really cool idea for tight areas.

Works....somewhat
Item arrived as describe which was water proof, heat shrinking tubing with solder in the middle to form a better bond. The heat shrinking portion did great with very little heat applied with my heat gun. The heat gun used has adjustable settings. However the solder in the middle didn't melt as it should have. Even with a focused cone on the heat gun. when you adjusted the heat to a higher temperature to melt the solder, the heat shrink tubing melted.

Simply the easiest way to solder wires together
By far the easiest way to solder two wires together. I have used it multiple times and it always works good

Work great
These work amazing so far little hard to hold the wires in place but they work as intended I like them in a tight spot I would probably still use the crimp style
