For anyone with poor eyesight.
Simple to use and gives a "bleep" sound when the cup or mug is full of hot or cold water.

Does what you need it to do.
This does exactly what you need it to do and has helped my visually impaired Mum become a little more independent in being able to make her own drinks again - she burned herself quite a bit, and managed to spill a lot prior to using this. With two different audible noises for the two different levels she knows how much water to add by the first noise, and how much milk to add by the second. She has said the only issue is that she would like it to let her fill the cup a little more, however, from a safety/spill point I think it is at the perfect level.

Perfect for the Elderly
I got this little unit for my elderly mother. She has issues with her sight and struggles to see when a coffee cup is near full. Using this unit takes the worry away. It hangs on the side of the cup or glass. There are two sets of sensors that bleep when liquid reaches them. Useful for coffee making as stopping pouring hot water on the first sensor bleep allows for milk up to the level of the second sensor. Anyone with sight issues should have one of these.!

Useful auditory drink level indicator
The liquid level indicator is very simple to use. Once the battery tab has been removed, it clips over the side of the cup, with the metal prongs inside and the oval part on the outside (this may sound obvious but I wasn't sure at first). When the water reaches the longer prongs, a pleasant little "triple alarm" sounds. It's not overly loud - this is for a lower/normal level of liquid in the cup. If the water level arises to the middle prong, 1cm higher (and for me this is the level I'd usually pour a drink, however I appreciate that to reduce risk of spill some users may want a less-full cup - for someone like me a taller cup/mug would be good to use). As long as you pour reasonably slowly, it's very easy to stop pouring in time. Mine doesn't vibrate, just makes a sound. The unit isn't magnetic so you'd have to arrange somewhere easy-to-find to store it. It seems a little on the pricey side, however, this device is very useful, and anything which enables independence and makes everyday tasks less of a chore is always a big help. This indicator does the job well and is easy to use without vision.
