I suffer from a pain in under my heel and on the first time using these on a walk, the pain was largely reduced. I also found the arch support was very effective and they were very comfortable to wear in my walking trainers. I did not need to trim them to size, but if you needed to, there are clear lines allowing you to do this easily.

Sorbothane material very similar to other gel insoles but better shock absorption.True to size. Quite thick. If you're looking for arch support, this isn't the best. Would suit a neutral pronator. This feels like it will last for a very long time. A strong 4*

Bought these for my wife after gfetting some for myself. Very pleased with them. Walkng on rough footpaths in hiking boots is much more comfortable with these inserted in place of the supplied insoles. Have bought some for my work boots as well.

This is the 4th or 5th pair of these that I've bought - and I think I might have already reviewed them! That being said, I'll risk repeating.They have been deployed in my work boots (safety) and shoes (also safety). They are all day comfortable and provide a little bit of lift (I have low ankle bones and these aid that issue). They last 18 months to 2 years of "on my feet all day" before the heels start to break up - not sure if that should be better but it's fine by me.(UPDATE) Today I've just noticed that this has come up on the more expensive Sorbothanes, the one I was reviewing was the "purple" version (about 7 or 8 pounds).I have now got a pair in my "walking" shoes, so a firm fav' (updated) these are the yellow style that the review is attached to. Seem good so far, not had that much use in the 6 months I've had them. They are firmer than the purple version, but still have the "all day comfort" - just not had so many days to give a full review...Just in the process of finding the purple ones to buy and replace my work-boot specimens - how I came to spot the error...

They're ok it's just that they're not worth £21. I own cheaper insoles that are just as effective.

Sorbothane Sorbdouble Double Strike Insoles Are ideal for my new wellies to give extra cushioning & comfort. They are the right thickness so my feet don’t feel to tight in boots. Great value for money for this quality product.

They are very comfortable and good quality. Only negative side is that unlike other insoles I used in the past, these don't have guiding lines to tell you how much you need to cut, so to reach the right size I had to start cutting randomly until it was the right length for my shoes.
