Good value
Great price for decent fake skins. I'd say these are between low(yellow rubber)/and mid tier(silicone textured). They clean off nice with some Vaseline. Ink generates nicely. I'm 1 months in, don't judge too much lol

Great for Learning the Art!
My significant wanted to learn how to do tattoos, and we weren't sure we could find enough volunteers for her to practice. This kit was the perfect solution, and so much better than practicing on oranges. The fake skin can take a little getting used to because it needs to be held down properly and secured at the same time to be more like working on the real thing. The transfers worked great in our transfer printer. This is simply a great kit for those wanting to learn how to tattoo!🐻 *Statement/Disclaimer: This review is part of Amazon's Vine Program which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for sincere/frank reviews. SHE THICKKKKK
I’ve practiced on about 15 or so fake skins and just got these. I will say it doesn’t hold the ink all that well? I feel like I had to go pretty deep for it to be as dark as I wanted. Idk could just be me. They’re good for the price though and beat the 1mm skins.

A must have for those starting out. Great to add to your stock if you're already practicing.
This kit includes three essentials for beginners: The tattoo practice skin, the ink caps, and the tattoo design thermal transfer paper. All are integral to the modern tattooing process. The tattoo skins are the thickest, and honestly, the finest you can buy. At 3mm thick, they are easily twice the thickness of most of the others sold, and also three times the thickness of others. These skins will not move when you're working on them. They won't fold, or roll up. They are the closest thing you can get to human skin, without purchasing an animal skin (pigskin used to be a common practice material). The ink caps are great, and are designed to be stable, and not fall over. You get a good supply here (500), and they have a lip so that they can be used in an ink cap holder. The ten tattoo design thermal transfer sheets are great, and you need to master their use. This is a super set for a beginner, but also a good idea for someone who is more advanced to supplement their stock. You can never practice enough, and when you do you want the best skins available. This set, with 515 pieces, is worth the price of the 5 sheets of 3mm practice skin alone. That makes this a very good deal.

Great Practice Kit!
The ink cups worked great. They held just the right amount of ink and that help not to waste too much ink. They were easy to dispose and they were not messy. There was not any back splash. The transfer paper worked wonderfully. It came through cleanly with detail. It didn't wipe away while doing the outline and itstayed on the skin very well. The skins were great for practicing my drawing.

Do not buy these skins!!!
Absolutely the worst practice skins I have tried. Ive been tattooing for quite a long time and I like to try different products to recommend to others. These fall very short of even being ok to be cheap substitutes. The reason, if you need more explanation than my photo, is the excess ink doesn’t wipe off, ever. Green soap, bleach soak overnight, scrubbing with a pumice stone, extremely toxic acid, LOL. Nothing works.Stick to a quality skin. I use Reelskin most of the time. It’s worth it. Don’t waste your money on this stuff. I’m stuck with a bunch of useless skins now.

Great 3mm thick practice skins
These skins are great for pulling lines, shading, and practicing just about any technique to build your skills including depth control. When tattooing real skin, you want to get the ink into the dermis which is about 2mm deep. These skins are 3mm thick so you can practice your depth control. Other skins are super thin and with those you run the risk of puncturing through them and drilling into your table which can damage your needles. As long as you don’t punch through the skin, you can tattoo the backside so you can get even more use out of them. This is not an option with thinner skins because the ink typically bleeds through the backside. Each skin is also individually wrapped which is nice because it keeps your skins clean and cuts down on your prep work before you start tattooing. I would still recommend you wipe them down with detergent or alcohol to get rid of any residual grease before you lay down a stencil or pull lines. These skins are stretchy and the surface is nice and smooth just like real skin. I would recommend this product!

Great practice tattoo skin
This is great tattoo practice skin, at a good thickness of 3mm. It comes with 10 pieces, which is fabulous when you're new at tattooing and need multiple practice sessions. I can tattoo on both sides, and I use all areas of the skin for added practice. It takes the ink well, and I highly recommend this practice skin to others. 5 out of 5 stars.
