Very nice smell and very enjoyable, I love it, great quality and material, looks good too.

I'm excited to give this to my son when he defends his dissertation next month, but not as excited for the look on his face when he takes the lid off the candle. High marks for cute, but there is no world in which this candle smells like lavender. I didn't burn it, so maybe it will take on a different character, but right now I would say it smells more like a junior high boy's idea of cologne than gentle and calming lavender. So... stinky but cute. I still think it will be a hit.

This is a large candle with nice smell and great bottle.the wrap is great too-- and this makes it a good gift for graduates.Also I like the words on the bottle: you light up the dissertation...so funny.overall, shipping is fast, price is reasonable, gift is useful, idea is special.

I'm getting tired of photoshopped product images that don't match the reality, so I'm going to start calling them out in my reviews.There's no need for this product to not have an actual photo with dimensions. This is a candle with a handmade label selling for $17. It is smaller than a 12oz soft drink can. The smell is powerful, but regardless you're better off finding a candle on your own and affixing your own label if you have the opportunity to create a handmade gift. If you have to send something by mail for distance or other reasons, consider this a last result/option.

Again, never thought I'd review a freaking CANDLE well.... anyway; this one--let me parse my words....so I'm a wordsmith; and chose cause of the language on it--GREAT GIFT FOR WRITERS & INTELLECTUALS.... it burns SLOWLY & EASILY. Does that make any sense? It burns WELL. I don't know how to describe it. But it just burns differently and well... if you're going to but a candle; make it this one... That is all.

This makes an excellent gift if you know someone getting their doctorate. The smell is amazing, it smells exactly like lavender and you can smell it throughout the house.

I ordered this scented candle as a graduation gift for my friend, she thought it was great!The box it comes in is simple, but it has an elegant design printed on it. Not quite festive enough to give as is, but wrap some plastic around it and it looks beautiful! Definitely no need to buy a separate box for it.As far as scented candles go, this one is on the strong side. The lavender smell is quite sweet and intense. I prefer more subtle scents, but she loved it so it is a matter of taste.Overall I recommend this gift for someone who likes sweet scents!
