I'd like to start by saying that I came from Primal Pit Paste, but after 6 months of use I began experience an itchy, puffy, and downright painful rash. I searched low and high for a replacement deodorant that could combat by surprisingly odorous lady-pits. I tried a few clay based ones to no avail.I read the reviews for Bali Secrets and I was nervous about what could possibly keep me from stinking in the formula, and the fact that it was a liquid roll-on as opposed to a solid stick...(unwarranted prejudice, I suppose.) I tried the Rose scent first. I was happy with it on most days. While I didn't journal daily about what I ate and temperature, I was overall happy with it, but a little self-conscientious about my odor on certain days.I thought it silly to reach out to customer service regarding it because I figured my email would get lost in the shuffle. Can you believe that I received a response from Martin less than 8 hours later! He was professional, helpful, and offered to exchange the Rose for their Original scent, free of charge! A few days later, a replacement showed up in my mailbox as a surprise. I have been using the Original Scent and am so beyond happy with it. The aroma straight on the roll on was a bit strong at first, but it absorbs and changes with my skin to an incredibly pleasant scent.This is probably far too wordy for anyone to continue reading, but I urge to you to give this company a chance. They're phenomenal all around from product quality, packaging, shipping, and of course - their customer service team!

I loved this deodorant! It goes on easily and smoothly and dries quickly. It kept me dry all day which began to make me wonder why. Antiperspirants keep you dry; deodorants keep you smelling good. I switched to deodorants to avoid aluminum which is the common ingredient in antiperspirants that keeps you dry and is linked to breast cancer and Alzheimer’s. So I looked at the ingredients again and noticed that potassium alum is the second ingredient and alum sounds like aluminum. I googled it and according to Wikipedia potassium alum is a form of aluminum. So although this natural deodorant does not contain the kind of aluminum used in antiperspirants, it still contains aluminum and I will no longer use it.

I always thought I was just an unusually sweaty woman with unusually malodorous armpits. I've tried so many drugstore brands of antiperspirant with the aluminum chlorohydrate or similar active ingredient. They all eventually stain my clothes, cause perma-stink in my shirts, and seem to stop working after a few weeks to months. I know how the aluminum complexes work, and thinking about it, I realized that maybe plugging up my sweat glands and pores was actually counterproductive, and could be trapping stink-causing bacteria, contributing to increased odor.One day in the shower, after washing and scrubbing throughly, I pinched up some of the skin in my armpit and squeezed - and a bunch of little whitehead-like bumps appeared. I squeezed some more, and the white junk came out. I noticed it smelled like super-concentrated, bad body odor. I was expressing the old, gelled up antiperspirant plugging my glands and pores, with all the sweat and sebum and happily thriving bacteria caught up in it. And there was a lot of it, after decades of using antiperspirants. I decided I'd stop using antiperspirant and see if the odor and excess sweat problem improved, since my armpit odor was not responding to even the "prescription strength" antiperspirant.Then I discovered how impossible it is to get a deodorant that isn't also an antiperspirant. I found the Toms and Jason deodorants at Whole Foods. They did not work for odor control. I saw this Bali Secrets brand got good reviews, so even though it's pricey, I ordered it.I'm very happy with it! It has a nice scent, and it works to control my sweat odor all day long - even after strenuous exercise, like a long training ride on my bicycle, or a tough 7 mile run. Also, I feel like I'm not as sweaty and slimy under my arms. We'll see if this positive trend continues in the heat of the summer. Meanwhile, I'm going to try some other brands that got good reviews, here.I really like this product in the sandalwood scent, and I will likely order it again, or maybe try a different scent.If you're looking for a way to get off the antiperspirants - which stain clothing and clog your pores and eventually stop working - give your body about a week without antiperspirant (with regular vigorous underarm scrubbing, to get rid of the antiperspirant residue stuck in your pores), and start using something like Bali Secrets. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I was only able to use this product regularly for about a month before it “dried up”? It was doing a good job at fighting odor but it just dried up and stops coming out and becomes a solid mass I shake it and there’s still definitely stuff in there. It advertises that it can last up to 3 months it didn’t make it close to that at all.

This is the BEST deodorant I've used since switching to natural deodorants. I've tried Primal Pit Paste, Truly's, Jason's, Ozone Layer, Skin2Spirit, Organic Island Deodorant with Probiotics, and Lafe's Natural Roll On Deodorant. Pit Paste, Truly's, and Organic Island Deodorant with Probiotics have STARCH and/or SUGAR in them, which gave me itchy skin and dark discoloration under my arms, which I discovered was actually YEAST that was growing by eating the sugar and/or starch used in those deodorants. I had started a candida diet and had cut all SUGAR/CARBS out of my diet, so the STARCH/SUGAR in those deodorants was the only source of sugar that the yeast could eat on. Thus, all the yeast moved under my arms and ate there. In my search for a STARCH/SUGAR free natural deodorant, I tried Jason's, Ozone Layer, Skin2Spirit, Lafe's Natural Roll On Deodorant. These didn't cause the YEAST to grow, in fact it went away while using these, but these DIDN'T keep me FRESH all day long either. I had to continually wash my pits and reapply throughout the day unlike this NATURAL DEODORANT which is applied once in the morning, and it last the ENTIRE DAY, even after sweating I smelled FRESH. Plus, it DOESN'T contain any SUGAR or STARCH, so it DOESN'T feed yeast or candida. I LOVE IT!!

So I gave this a try for 3 month nearly. It's not so cheap, I wanted it to work. Was on my second bottle until I decided this was not right. The smell is kind of old potpouri, which is liked by some and not others. I liked the smell at first. But it doesn't stop odor. After putting it on before bed (after a shower), I would be smelly by 10am the next day, even without heavy activity. I thought maybe I should put in on twice, once before bed and once when I wake up. Result was the same, although the odor would then begin around 1pm rather than 10am. So clearly, this is not for me.

I've been searching for a natural deodorant that works for years! I think I tried all of them. I kept getting disappointed because they either didn't work or gave me a rash. Most natural deodorant are based on baking soda and oil (YUK!) they make your armpits dark and irritated. NOT THIS ONE! It lasts me all day long, smells great and doesn't stain my clothes with oily mess. I am not sure how they pulled it off, but this deodorant is a real miracle! So happy I've found it! I'll be ordering some more for my sister and cousin.

I really like these deodorants. They’re long lasting and smell amazing. I like that a little goes a long way and my armpits don’t feel wet when they’re put on unlike other roll ons. I originally got the rose one so I’m trying the sandalwood but if it’s like the rose one it will be one very happy purchase.

I received the product in good time , but was shocked to find even though it was sealed there was a grey sludge substance on and around the roller. I managed to get most of it out so I could use it. Have no idea if other people had the same. I’m recovering from breast cancer so needed a natural deodorant and it was the only one I could find with no fragrance. It dose work though if you can get over the gunk on the roller.

I was a little unsure about the Deodorant when I first received it. As someone who typically uses musky scents the Bali Secrets scent is quite floral. At first without applying to the skin I felt the scent was a little too strong and floral for the typical 'macho' man :). However after applying to the skin, at least in my own experience the scent changes to be less imposing.Application simple, lasts for me throughout the day. And the scent has grown on me.I would prefer if the bottle had some proven natural and organic certificate that I could trust, but given the lack of alternatives I think this is a fine product.
