Works great
Even though I bought a refurbished version of this item, it still works great. I am happy with my purchase. It works well and it doesn’t leak water. I wish the tank was bigger but that’s a minor complaint. It doesn’t take that long for it to heat up. I prefer the Turbo mode as it just works way better than the other mode. I wish the slide button was different. It is easy to move around so sometimes you accidentally remove the lock mode. It removes the wrinkles pretty well and it feels durable. It is very easy to use. I am not a big fan of the design. It looks outdated but as long as it works, I think that makes it have a lot of value for your money.

Love it
Great item! Fast, easy to use, very effective, not heavy, easy to store even if hot. This steamer not only fixes wrinkles on sweaters, shirts, winter coats, and curtains, it also saves my nerves when I need to remove wrinkles last minute for myself or my family. This holiday season, the steamer even fixed my tablecloth right before the arrival of the guests, which made me happy.

Small water tank is the only reason for not giving five stars...
Great steamer. Very powerful flow of steam. I had to refill the tank once to completely steam a long linen dress, which is the only disappointment with this steamer. It is heavy. The weight gave me an impression of higher quality. The brush attachment works very well. (I did not use the bonnet.) It is large for a travel steamer, but packed easily along the edge of a big suitcase. It has a very long cord, which was nice in a hotel with limited outlets. It is far superior to my older, small conair travel steamer. The small tank is easy to fill and did not leak. It must be held completely upright for steam to flow. I experienced only a few small sputters of water.

Excellent Easy To Use Hand Held Steamer
I watched several reviews on this Rowenta Handheld Steamer…they were all positive. It was also recommended by my daughter who purchased an earlier model. She researches to death, everything she purchases. If she endorses a product, I know it’s of good quality worthwhile purchasing. It works as described, does a very good job of eliminating wrinkles, is simple to use and seems to be of excellent quality. I use distilled water though tap water is recommended. This eliminates any possibility of mineral deposits which can shorten the life of any appliance that holds water. I tend to err on the side of caution. I purchased a Rowenta iron several years ago. It was very expensive compared to other brands, but it was superior in quality and functionality. I am a home sewer and have purchased at least 8 irons over the past 30 years. I also ironed all my husband’s dress shirts for work before he retired. I would never substitute my iron with a steamer. 100% fine cotton dress shirts require a quality steam iron as do 100% cotton garments, however there is a need for a hand held steamer if you want to have wrinkle free 100% wool jackets, blazers, dress pants, skirts and other pieces of clothing that don’t lend themselves to ironing. There were some reviewer’s complaints regarding the size of the water reservoir which holds just under 200 cc’s of water. What reviewers fail to realize is this: The larger the water reservoir, the heavier the steamer. I don’t want to have to lift a steamer which holds 400-500 cc’s of water. Water is heavy! It’s much less effort to refill it as it runs out of water. When I use my steam iron, I have to refill it every time I iron 1 cotton dress shirt, so it’s no big deal to me to have to refill this steamer. (I use allot of steam when I iron!) I highly recommend this brand & model of handheld clothes steamers. Remember to use caution if you are steaming synthetics. I would hold the steamer farther away from synthetic fabrics just in case it is too hot. For this price point this is an excellent value for the money. The same steamer is $124.00 CDN plus 13 % tax, do the math. I know this is a great value!

It doesn't work! No steam is produced. Actually ZERO stars.
I bought this in August 2022 and never had a need to use it until a few weeks ago. It gets hot but does not produce any steam. I contacted Rowenta customer service by email; here's their answer: "Rowenta warrants their electrical appliances to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) year from the date of the original purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchase and does not apply to commercial use, unreasonable use or to damage to the product (not resulting from defect or malfunction) while in possession of the consumer.Based upon the information you have provided; your unit is beyond the terms of our warranty without a receipt indicating purchase of the item within the past 24 months. If you have a copy of a valid receipt, please reply with the purchase receipt attached."So I sent a screenshot of the Amazon order back to them. The response was sorry, 1 year only. That sucks. I wasted $89 bucks. I saw reviews today that rated this model very poorly. For certain, I'll be looking at other brands if I decide I actually need a hand held steamer.

Much Better than the non-traveling giant plastic steamer
I also own the non-traveling in-home Rowenta garment steamer — it is an eyesore at home and the plastic is cheap.BUT THIS product is almost perfect! This one has metal plating, travels a bit awkwardly, but steams so wonderfully well — my colleagues were stunned how polished & impeccable; the just-off-the-dry-cleaners-rack my work clothes looked even though they were folded and wrinkled in the suitcase from travel before I used this on them.Even with its awkward travel (does take up half the height of my Briggs & Riley bag) — this is one item I include now on every business travel, since I know it will make me look impeccable in client meetings even if I have to reuse business clothes, they look like they are fresh and crisp after running it by this.Much easier to use than an iron and takes 1-2 minutes per garment. The Turbo mode takes wrinkles out of even the stiffest chino! So much better than the regular Rowenta plastic giant, that I use it at home too.
