However the packaging doesn't state whether this supplement is suitable for vegetarians (the product listing does label it as a vegetarian product however it would be nice to have this stated on the packaging). I like that they at least specify which strain of Bifidobacterium lactis this probiotic contains.The box says that this supplement is suitable to take in pregnancy. The packaging also says that it contains vitamin A, which would make it not suitable in pregnancy. However, the ingredients list reveals that the probiotic does not contain vitamin A in the form of retinol but it contains beta-carotene which is a vitamin A precursor.
