Alpha Bottle 750ml BPA and DEHP Free Protein Shaker

It's a bit rubbish, unfortunately. Few issues with it, which mostly lie with the odd design:1) It's pretty small. You can get about 400ml of liquid in it and a couple of scoops of powder, then you're up to the top. If you like throwing loads of different things in then you're out of luck, unless you pack it to the top, shake it (to mix it down a bit), add more in and repeat. That just ends up getting messy. It's also narrow, so it's hard to get your hand in to the bottom to give it a good clean.2) The basket design that breaks up the powder doesn't do a good job. At all. I'm constantly chewing on lumps because of this thing. It also forms a nice little v shaped area where the basket sits in the shaker, which catches powder and stops it from getting mixed with the liquid. You know like when powder gets caught in the bottom of your bottle and it becomes a pain to get out? It's like that, but at the top.3) The silicone seal constantly bunches up when you tighten the lid, which stops it making a seal and so it leaks everywhere. I've come to get it out of my bag to find that it's leaked over everything so many times that I now have to carry it in a sealed plastic bag in case it happens again. I suspect they know this happens, as they've put a handy little tab on the seal that lets you pull it out to reseat it. Except of course it just bunches up again.All in all I would look for something else. This just doesn't cut it.

To be honest, I liked it, because it suits my main purpose, which is to store my smoothies in a bottle that has a really good screwing cap and it would not wear off or open in a bag, so the smoothie is safe inside this bottle.The other reason is that I am an hygiene freak and every once and then I most wash my smoothie bottle in boiling/hot water without damaging the bottle, which already happened with more expensive bottles than this. So yeas the plastic is heat resistant.Finally, the design does it job, it is simple and works, yes it does fit 750 mls of liquid, I don't know why everyone is bragging about it here... ;)I would give a 5 stars if the top cap was a little bit improved for ultimate lock like on coke bottles the tine little angle bush, all the rest are perfect... 4 stars and a half for Alpha ;)

Very solid product, I have been through 3 different similar products and this is the first one that did not leak! You will not have to worry when putting this product in a bag because the top is very sturdy. I had no problems cleaning this product, there is a rubber rim that can be taken off and although you do have the odd bit of gunk stuck in the top an earbud does the trick.The shape allows a nice grip so can be held using a workout and the screw on lid means that it can double up as an everyday water bottle. Brilliant for mixing thin powders such as BCAA powders but can struggle with thicker protein powder. However, 'gymadvisor MIXER BALL Stainless Steel Blender Whisk (Spare for Protein Shaker)' is a simple and cheap way around this. For £7 I cannot complain, I have tried similar products both cheaper and more expensive and for the price it is up there with the most efficient and is by far the most reliable.

This bottle leaks like there's no tomorrow. It looks great (I have the black version) but that's all there is to it.Even if you screw the lid forcefully until you can't open it anymore, it still leaks a bit....Disappointed, my previous cheap shaker never leaked.** Update a month and a week after contacting customer service about leak **The customer service representative told me that they recognised that there was a manufacturing problem with certain batches of their product, and agreed to send me a replacement if I provided them with my details, which I did.A month later nothing came yet so I emailed them again. It's been a week now and I have received no answer from them.Following this mishap, I have lowered my rating from 2 stars to 1 star only. This rating reflects the poor design of their product, and also their unresponsive customer service.

Has a plastic/chemical taste in the bottle that transfers to the water I fill in it, and this has persisted after multiple washes with detergent, without detergent, with hot and cold water.. nothing works... very disappointed.Initially just used water, and rinsed multiple times etc... after about a week I resorted to the detergents and hot water routines, as I knew by that point if the other options didn't work, nothing would. Sadly, this was a wasted purchase.

Good size, however the item I received leaks all over my hand and drips on the floor whilst I'm drinking, with an apparently sealed lid. When you're chalked up its a pain as it washes the chalk off, and in any other situation to be fair. I've had two bottles as I lost one prior to buying, the first one didn't leak. Otherwise a good strong bottle. I would appreciate a replacement that doesn't leak on my hands when I'm lifting heavy weights.

Not often I write a faultless review however I followed the hype and furore around rhe Alpha bottle before if hit production on social media... the hype was right.Far sturdier than anything buschteiner (your typical maximuscle and science mx shaker) and a billion times better than anything USN has ever made (USN are all style over substance).The Alpha Shaker is sturdy, hard wearing and doesn't leak. It's easy to clean and it looks good. It enables your protein to be mixed well. There is nothing more that needs to be said because that's all you really need from a shaker. It does the basics and it does them well!

Definitely a bad purchase.The delivery and the packet was ok, but the quality of this product is really poor.The silicone seal did not hold the shake, then it started to leak at the first time i used, so this silicone seal does not ensure the protein shaker is leak proof, as the ad inform.The plastic is strong, but for what really matters, for the mainly function and purpose, it did not work, no matter how tightly you squeeze it, it will leak!I threw it in the trash. I Wouldn't recommend.
