Shoes are very comfortable, size is perfect with extra room in toe box , waterproof-tested, breathable, with addition of good wool blend socks your feet staying dry after 8 hrs walk through mountains, excellent grip.Only one thing is that when you are on flat tarmac or pavement path you can feel shoe lugs getting into your feet, I do belive that ticker socks or insoles will solve this problem, eventually this is hiking product and there is no problems when on hills.

I bought my first pair of these shoes in a shop. I wore them for a week while walking the Camino Santiago and they were fantastic. After a year I still have the same shoes which are still in perfect condition despite being worn every day in all conditions. I find these to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are light hiking shoes which are great for trails etc. Although I still have the original shoes I decided to get a second pair just incase they go out of production. I got these on Amazon at a much better price than the shops. I use size 9 and I find these true to size.

Grippy, comfortable & water resistant

I purchased these based on my many years using Berghaus boots, water proofs, trousers, jackets, t shirts and all other kinds of outdoor equipment. It would appear that this product was missed off the design/quality assessment line, it is seriously not up to the job it was designed for.Where do I start, these outdoor shoes have multiple defects:> The heel section inside has a seam right on the part that is in direct contact with your heel. Makes for some great blisters on the trail.> The sole is labelled as Vibram, well it can't be.... I've covered less than 100 miles in these shoes and the outer tread is already significantly worn down. For comparison, I had ARMY boots with Vibram soles last me thousands of miles across all kinds of terrain.> Waterproof, nope that doesn't work either......> Ortholite insoles, nope again.... probably the most uncomforatble insoles I've ever experienced in my 57 years on this planet> Lacing - when you put on the shoe and tie the lacing, it doesn't lock your foot to the shoe. I can only put this down to design.Overall a pretty poor experience and if I could I would return them for a refund, a different pair wouldn't make a difference as the whole concept is flawed.Just writing this as I don't want anyone else to suffer like my feet have

Berghaus were more expensive than the other alternative I tried Columbia Woodburn but they were far more comfortable although the extra half size made all the difference. Having now tried them they are certainly waterproof and the laces do not come undone. One bonus benefit that I wasn't expecting was their secure grip on ice, obviously not as good as crampon attachments but by far the best normal shoes I have used on an icy road / path.

These felt good at first but quickly hurt my feet. There is very little support.Also the sole is starting to come apart after three months of light use.

Very comfortable, good value and would buy them again too!
