Who knows how accurate this thing is, but I find in general it's good when it comes to detecting if what I hate heavily impacted my ketosis.Its nice to know how many carbs you can really get away with, you'd be surprised to see how many carbs are in things you would never suspect.Particularly, Its good for knowing how much fasting gets you where.For example, I tried some more carb-loaded food, it blew me way out of keto, so I decided to start a bit more of an aggressive intermittent fast, having this to tell me, that Im now back in high keto is key.Just TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR, if you're going to get this, they could really help you understand how to use it, and what numbers to look for.

The product works as advertised and expected. It was easy to setup and use, though I admit to also watching YouTube videos from 4 different tubers. The biggest benefit is understanding how quickly my body gets into ketosis and what foods will keep me there verses those that do not. I enjoyed the holiday parties without much concern over food choices because I knew I'd drop back into ketosis within 1-2 days and still lost 10 pounds. This helped me learn that even just being in mild ketosis still had me losing inches around the middle. I'm not sure I'd have been so motivated if I hadn't seen my daily number immediately before breaking a 12-24 hour fast, depending on the day and life going on.

I've been using this meter for a few weeks now and it's very simple and easy to use. Before purchasing it, I watched videos on this meter on YouTube so I would be familiar with it when I got it. I do find the test strips on the expensive side, so now I'm only testing my blood/keytones twice a day. Once before dinner around 5 p.m. and then again at midnight and I've been using the bluetooth to upload the info into the free app you can get for use with the meter. The kit also comes with calibration fluid and there is a video on YouTube that explains how to do it. Overall I'm very happy with this meter because of it's dual fuction. Prior to this I only had a blood sugar meter.
