Very good, easy to fit and has given me a fully working mowerbonce again

This fitted and worked perfectly. Would have been 5 star but one of the gaskets was wrong shape so had to use the one off the old carb. Other than that works well.

My mower was constantly hunting. The carb was spotlessly clean, as was the fuel. I even tried a fuel additive. Still the same. Tried this carb and the problem was instantly fixed. The mower is now running like new. Simple to fit in under ten minutes.

Arrived in good time and was very easy to fit. Rescued my old lawnmower for sure!

It does fit but the petrol pipe is not facing the correct way for the petrol feed pipe and you have to remove trotte linkage from the old one to make it work I got it on and it works ok

My trusty 15 year old Mountfield SP100 was 'hunting' for fuel. Revs were up and down and cutting out. I couldn't be bothered with cleaning the carburettor and changing all of the seals, so opted for a new one. Took a chance on a £15 Amazon special and I'm not disappointed. Easy to replace in about 10-15 minutes after watching a couple of YT videos and cut the damp lawn in no time.Ordered separately, I'm now waiting for a new blade so hopefully I won't have to buy a new lawnmower for a few years.Only one cut so far but will report back if it doesn't last as expected.

My Mountfield SP414 has seemingly been running quite rich with the OEM carb and no amount of cleaning of jets etc would resolve it - the temporary solution was to wedge the throttle open which was enough to get by but at the expense of excessive fuel use. So this replacement kit seemed like an ideal test - easy enough to pop off and replace, but I found the 3 gaskets didn't quite match OEM - not a problem provided all the relevant areas are covered so gave it the benefit of the doubt. The fuel line that is supplied is too short and useless - these engines have a specific line that can be obtained for around £5 (keep this as a spare piece for the primer if needed). The filter is also not much use as again this is within the fuel line and sits in the fuel tank so the external filter isn't much use. All popped back together and after a few attempts it fired up nicely - happy days. This carb appears to have an adjustment screw which might prove to be useful, however I didn't need to touch that, only the throttle open screw. For around £15 it's decent value if no amount of servicing of the old carb cures any problems - on par with other replacements available.
