I bought this for our son for his birthday, he is very pleased with the grill. It received done damage from Hurricane Helene and the manufacturer sent him everything he needed to repair it. That is awesome customer service! Highly recommend

Having owned several pellet grills in the past, I was always chasing that genuine smoky flavor but often ended up disappointed with a processed wood taste. Enter the Masterbuilt Autolight 545, and my grilling game has changed for the better.Right from the start, the ease of ignition on this grill impressed me. It quickly rises to the set temperature, allowing me to start cooking in no time. The true wood flavor that I get from the charcoal is unparalleled and exactly what I’ve been looking for.The steaks and hamburgers produced on this grill have an amazing flavor that’s hard to beat. Overall, the Masterbuilt Autolight 545 delivers an exceptional grilling experience, combining ease of use with phenomenal taste. Highly recommended for anyone seeking genuine wood-grilled flavor!

Returned it - the fan wasn't working.

Grill got super banged up in shipping to the point where the front door won’t close anymore still assembled and seems to be working fine

Grill is fine once you get it built, but set aside at least a 3-4 hours for that step. The directions are miserably written; the documentation is 100% pictographic (not rare) but the images lack the detail necessary to figure out what they want you to do and the dimensions of the components in the graphics don’t match the physical pieces which is infuriating. The order of operations for assembly is perfectly idiotic. Finally there are so many screws that need to be installed in areas with such tight access they don’t easily allow for a screwdriver to access and then do not allow for a direct approach (ie tiny space and at an angle). Pack your patience and set aside at least three times what you assume it should take.Whomever engineered this monstrosity needs to have their head examined immediately.Other than that I have no opinion on the matter.

The Masterbuilt autoignite is very interesting automated charcoal grill, you can do low and slow smoking and hot and fast grilling. The grates are cast iron and it does hook up easily to WiFi. The autoignite does require starting cube's that Masterbuilt sells, but you just place it in the auto ignite slide and it automatically starts the cube so no match’s or torch required. You can use either charcoal briquettes or lump charcoal and it produces allot of smoke. Assembly took about an hour and they do offer a cover for it.

I got the masterbuilt auto light 545 for father's day. We cooked some chicken on the grill for our first meal with it. The grill worked great. It was easy to control the temperature and better yet lighting was a breeze.

I have one the grills from the Gravity series, saw the Autoignite and had to order one. Best purchase I've made in a while! This grill is so easy to use, I love the simplicity of the auto ignition. My first cook I started off low and slow with some ribs that had the most amazing flavor and then turned the temperature up with ease to grill some burgers. I have got to say that the AutoIgnite is my new favorite grill and I would definitely recommend!
