These dates are so fresh. They don't get hard either. The sealing style bag keeps them moist and fresh. The 5-pound bag lasts about 5-6 weeks in our house. They are flavorful and now, the only dates I'll buy. A great value for a great tasting, very fresh date.

This was a wonderful surprise! The dates were so fresh, the taste was like candy but with natural sugars, a very large amount of dates for 5 lbs & no extra sugar. A very healthy way to keep your body regular. I will reorder again.

These are SO good. My mother was a great cook. She's been gone for several decades but I frequently find myself craving one of her recipes. Just before Christmas I began obsessing about her date pudding and date rolls. These were two things that appeared in Mom's kitchen every Christmas season so the timing was perfect. But I've always used dates purchased in a grocery store. This time I couldn't do that because the stores didn't have them in stock. So I looked on Amazon and I found plenty of dates. Actually I found more than I wanted. The packages were huge compared to what I thought I wanted but it was either that or nothing. I decided I could freeze what I didn't use, bit the bullet, and ordered. Am I ever glad I did. I can honestly say Mom's Date Pudding and Mom's Date Rolls never tasted so good - and so "date-y". I can seldom say I made something that tasted better than Mom's, but this time I honestly can. And if I hadn't bought a large package, I wouldn't have had all the delicious snacks I've been eating since. These dates are mostly large with a few medium sized. They are moist and sweet and 2-3 make a great snack. I've never gotten anything like them in a grocery store.

These aren't as good as the Mejidol type dates, but still taste good enough, and are a better value.
