Different & Engaging
My grandson loves these, and two friends that visited also got very excited and enjoyed playing with them. They range in age from 5-9. I could see kids slightly older possibly enjoying these as well. The brand is fantastic and my grandson has almost everything that they manufacture. He is a Lego lover and these fit right in his engineering brains wheel house. The younger (5 yr old) child struggled just a bit with separating the pieces but was able to do it herself and was engaged for a good 45 minutes with them. My grandson leaves his creations together to display in his room. Good play value for the money. Perhaps not an every day toy but still a good one to acquire.

Kids liked it
These blocks are hard to pull apart and don't offer many options, but the kids (6 to 19) seemed intrigued. They put them together in a stack and then picked them up and put them back down over and over. I wasn't impressed but they liked them.

Thought provoking!
10 year old was so fascinated, he left the Christmas party and took it downstairs and started putting the pieces together. He seemed like he was enjoying the challenge!

Breaks easily and hard to take apart
I thought we would be the family to love this, but it's next to useless. It breaks far too easily, even when you're really trying to be gentle and careful (and are good at being gentle with your hands). There are several problems.1) The instructions show a black tool for taking apart the blocks that is not included. The black tool has guides so you don't stick the tool too far inside the cubes. Instead we received a wooden stick with no guides. On first use, when trying to break the blocks apart, part of the (VERY brittle) inside broke. I'm pretty sure if I tried to stick them together again there's a good chance we could not get them apart again. I've broken a tile every time I use this thing.2) Since there is no color change between hinge blocks and regular blocks, when they're snapped together it's difficult to tell which blocks you can take apart. This is definitely an adult-only toy, which is a shame because it would be great for kids if better constructed.3) From a sensory point of view, it's not pleasant to take apart. It's like the construction toy version of getting xrays at the dentist, except you're forced to hold onto the sharp edges of the toy that cut into your hands, instead of the sharp edges of those card things that cut into your mouth. Those who care will know what I'm talking about.3) It's almost (but not quite) impossible to get the bricks back in the box. They're squeezed in so tightly, it's almost a crime. Putting things away should not be this hard.I definitely would not recommend this unless you want to build it once and walk away. Then it's cool. But a construction toy it is not.

Kept my teenagers engaged!
This was such a fun, challenging and unique learning toy!! I had 4 teenagers ages 12 - 18 interacting with them and they loved it. It was great to see them work together, be challenged and have fun with something hands on!
