Paper thin, not stiff at all.
These will work, for this season, but are super flimsy and paper thin. I don't expect to be able to use them again next year, which is super disappointing. You can't even use them to scoop out their own dirt from a bag of potting soil because the sides are not sturdy enough to resist even fluffed out bagged soil. They collapse. You have to use a second, sturdier pot or spade to scoop the soil out of the bag first, then sprinkle it in to these. Which, by itself isn't a huge deal, but it illustrates just how flimsy these are. And that extra step adds time and mess to the process. See photos for how easy it is to squeeze them in. I'm barely using any pressure at all. The goods news is they reform to their original shape after a squeeze like this. I'll still be able to use the pot I'm squeezing in the pictures. For comparison: Other 4" plastic pots I've acquired in the past have lasted season after season after season. I'm still using some of those 15 years later. My garden this year is significantly bigger than any previous year, so I needed to get a bunch more of this size for "potting up" my 1.5" soil-blocked sprouts, but my intention was to have these for many more spring plantings. I try hard to keep single-use plastic out of my life and out of the environment, so these just make me mad that they were manufacturered like this in the first place. These shouldn't be on the market at all.But the seller sent 52 instead of 50, so at least that's something. Now I'll have a couple extra to try to make art out of when my conscience is trying to figure out what to do with the plastic waste in a few months. I don't have high hopes even for that, though.UPDATE: upped my review to 3 stars because I have indeed been able to use them a second season. They don't appear to be too much worse for the wear, having been stacked inside my shed since last year. They perhaps are a teensy bit weaker than last year when they were new, but they are holding up so far potting up my 1.5" soil block sproutlings.

Perfect.
I bought these to transplant my seedlings into once they became mature enough to do so. I wanted small containers that allow them the space needed to grow until my outside garden is ready to go. These are the perfect size! Also a great price for the number of containers you receive! They are almost identical to pots I buy starter plants from at a nursery. They are durable and from what i can tell, definitely reusable next planting season as well! starting your own garden this summer? If so, these are a must!

4" plastic potts
wow had I known they were this flimsy I wouldn't have bought them. but a quantity of 50 for this price is pretty good actually. that is probably the only good thing they are like paper thin tho. I would have rather recycled containers for this much. but I guess you get what you pay for. there good for the most part for a temporary place but its only good for 1 use. so it has its pros and cons. don't buy unless you want a 1x use container after your plant grows your not going to want to use it again it will be discombobulated afterwards..

These are perfect for my specific needs.
I was very glad to stumble upon these for a couple of reasons. For one, I needed 4" pots for all of my African violets. But secondly, the seller was thorough enough to provide the bottom dimensions of the ZICOME Plastic Seedlings Starter Nursery Pots. I needed this information because I bought glass containers to drop these plastic pots into. I noticed that some of my other 4" pots wouldn't fit while others did. The bottom was too wide. So far my specific needs these pots serve as liners to drop into a "nicer" looking pot which is solid glass and eliminates my need for a saucer underneath. I'll submit photos shortly to demonstrate what I'm talking about. Suffice it to say, I'm very pleased and thankful for this item.

Extremely flimsy but does the job
Although they do the job, they are very flimsy. The material is strong enough that it won't tear but it's about as sturdy as cellophane. Extremely easy to crush, will not support any weight.Of course once you put potting soil inside it helps support. On the plus side it does help when taking the plants back out for transplant.I was hoping these would be similar to the temporary pots you get at a nursery but they are not even close, about as flimsy as a plastic bag.

Flimsy, didn't work for my canna germination needs
I must have missed the section that said this was just injected moulded plastic. Not durable, does not hold their shape unless filled with dirt, causing some to be unusable from balance issues. This may be my fault as I ASSUMED these were the firm plastic cups I normally buy at Lowes.

Don't bother
Although they are uniform in size, the flimsiness of the plastic is so very disappointing. I would rather recycle yogurt containers for this use. Re-used containers from other sources hold up, don't squish out of shape and tear easy. These do. Also are hard to transport when filled. Don't squeeze them....unless you like to clean up dirt.

Not good for little plants or plant Cuttings
I have around 30 house plants and most of them started from Cuttings. I've found most of my plants are happier in plastic containers so I purchased this to plant the Cuttings and put into terracotta.I had to double and triple these because they are so thin. I also had to use coffee filters as mesh because the drainage holes are huge.
