Not comfortable, could create more problems than it solves
For someone who is constantly getting jabbed in the ribs at night for snoring, I'm pretty much at the stage where I'd give anything a go.The setup process involves putting it in hot water for a few minutes to soften, moulding to the shape of your teeth, then a few minutes in cold water to hold to the shape. It may take a few goes to get this right and I'm not entirely sure I ever did successfully. If all that seems like a faff, the Keeping it in your mouth all night is even harder.Makes no mistake. This thing is big and fills up the whole mouth. Once you commit to putting it in your best be going straight to sleep, because there's no option of trying to speak, or even sit and read or watch TV.In my case I was just lied there awake thinking about how uncomfortable it was to wear. Also be prepared for drool, you'll be drooling a lot pretty much constantly. I can't really tell if this thing works or not that was very conscious of having it in so much so that I kept waking up, although that was mostly due to the pillow being wet. In the end I had to take it out as it just wasn't comfortable to leave it in the whole night I could see myself ending up with some serious jaw ache through continued use and haven't gone back to it since.

Did not help my snoring, may be okay for teeth grinders.
I am a big snorer as I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP. I do not use the CPAP though, if I sleep anywhere other than my spare room. So I am always eager to try anything that will shut me up enough for my partner to get some sleep, and to make my sleep more restful. To use this you first create a mould, by adding the device to boiling water, then dipping it in cool and then biting down on it to create an impression of your teeth. I did think this was quite clever though it is really hard to see the words on the front of the device that tell you which is the upper and lower parts. In fact on the first go I couldn't see them and did it the wrong way up. The instructions indicate that you can reset the mould 3 times, so I was one 2 down before Id even used it. Once done, it feels quite bulky in your mouth, like you are wearing a big set of false teeth. Not uncomfortable though once in place and you are relaxed. However, I had a bit of a cough in the night and took it off 3 nights in a row. As you can see from the snore app print out, the part of the night I had this in place on the third night of trying it, my snoring was at its loudest, and it actually eased once I had taken it out of my mouth.I had a few issues with it. The first being that I believe that if you do not have your jaws aligned correctly when you set the mould, you will not be comfortable having it on all night. I re set the mold 3 times and each time I ended up with a different impression based on how I bit down at that specific time, yet I thought was being quite careful. On the third night it did feel the most comfortable, but I still awoke in the night and had to remove it as my teeth and gums felt somehow sore, as if I had been subconsciously clamping down on it all night. It is also quite odd if you go to cough in the night, even though this has a vent in the front, I found coughing with this in more difficult and panic inducing than when I wear mouth tape! When I went for my dental check up today the confirmed that he would not recommend I use these, and if I was a teeth grinder, even then he would only recommend them creating a mould for my teeth as it is so easy to get wrong, which confirmed my suspicions on this device.I so wanted this to be something I could use on planes and in hotels, but it isn't to be. Maybe if you are using it to stop teeth grinding and you get the mould fit perfect then it will have some benefit But it wasnt right for me.
