Caline CP-43 Pegasus Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal

This pedal is now always in my signal chain, but not as an always on. When needed, though, to push an amp or even a downstream overdrive, distortion, or even cranked amp, it sounds absolutely brilliant. What I will say, though, is the little gold Azor klone I had, was a bit crappier, and noisier, but, for some reason, had something more magic about it. (and I wish now I hadn't returned it).Still, it is a very good klone, the kind of thing you might not use all the time, but, you don't need a 1/2 inch spanner every day, either.

The media could not be loaded.  I received my Pegasus , it was faulty, the tone knob did not work . I was disappointed and contacted the company , I received a message back nearly straight away by support , they were more disappointed than me . They immediately posted a fully bench tested replacement right away. Just got it today , this pedal is pure sheerness what ever that means . I am a modest guitar player but this thing pushes my 5 Watt bugera beautifuly and with amazing tone shaping , not noisy . With delay just crazy lush . Everything a pedal board needs! Wayne in support you need to be promoted to President of service excellence. I love this pedal and this company ! Will be buying more products in the future 🙂

Can't compare to the real thing as I don't have rockstar pockets.It certainly sprinkles its sonic fairy dust more than adequately over my tone.Difficult to describe but I think it just tightens up the sound focusing the mids and taming the treble adding a little compression along the way that beefs up sustain.Dont buy expecting roaring gain it's not that kind of beast.Do buy if you want a more polished but still organic tone.The perfect always on pedal or stick it at the end of the chain as a transparent boost.Plays nice with other distortions fuzzes etc if like me your a sucker for gain stacking.

It does what you'd expect from a Klon clone. It doesn't remove as much low end as the TScreamer (or Caline Midlander), and it leaves you with a nice chunky low gain rock rhythm sound, good for certain Zeppelin or AC/DC stuff and also for grunge. I use it on its own or as a boost pedal depending on the song's requirements. That's not to say that the Midlander sound is a bad one, this is just a different sort of 'classic' sound.

An Overdrive pedal that clones a Legendary pedal for £40 wow what a great buy & sound , just get one and enjoy!
