MindWare Tightrope Strategy Board Game, Fun for Classrooms, 2-4 Players, 20 Min Play Time, Ages 6 & Up

I use this game to play with my Grandkids. They love it! We wind up modifying the rules a bit, which makes it even more fun. Eventually I bow out and they are still playing for another hour. The younger grandchildren play along side their older cousins. I also like that you can be playing in only a couple of minutes. No long "figuring out the game" time.

This turned out to be a great game to play with our grandchildren over the holidays. I think the adults had as much fun as the kids. Depending how the bands are placed for each game, it adds fun to the game because each game will be different. It is fun yet challenging to get all the marbles to stay without falling. It provided lots of laughter. I highly recommend this game.

I was worried that this game would be easy and the kids would quickly tire of it. But, it turns out that it's more challenging than you think! The directions are well written and pretty simple. We do add one more band per person make it a little easier for the younger kids. We tried to play it on a not-so-flat surface, and that was really frustrating. You really need to play it on a level surface, or be prepared to put something under the board to keep it as level and steady as possible. Some times the game is short, sometimes it's long!

I live and breathe board games and am always looking for the next “it” game for our game nights. What attracted me to Tightrope was its packaging. It instantly communicated how to play. I can confidently say after multiple rounds that I was not disappointed. The game was an immediate hit with our family, ages 5 to 85.Mechanically, Tightrope is quite simple. Yet in practice it develops dramatic tension as players attempt to be the first to balance all their marbles on crisscrossing elastic bands. Tightrope offers strategic variety that keeps you playing game after game. By changing the paths of the elastic bands, it is never same game twice.WARNING. Highly addictive. Like M&Ms, you can never have just one. Tightrope begs to be played again and again.

Gave it as a Christmas present to my 10 year old grandson. His whole family loves playing it and so does he.

This was a big win! Bought this for my son’s six birthday! My husband enjoyed the game I think more than the kids! I have a 4 year old too that was also able to play with some help!

We changed the rules to make this more fun but I guess its not for my grandkids who tried to like it -- kids aged 8-11.

First off, the box is sturdy and will last. That’s important. Every piece is inside high quality - from the board, to the pegs, and the bands. I also like that the marbles are acrylic - they won’t shatter if they hit a hard floor. It’s a great game to have on hand!
