I needed some for the insides of wedding invitations, it had to be heavier than paper, but thin enough to go through my slightly touchy printer! This was perfect for my needs and very good value. For anyone who, like me, is not quite sure of the gsm thing - I would say this is roughly half the thickness of the card you would find in commercial greetings cards, but it is thick enough to stand up if you fold a piece in haIf. I found the colour slightly creamier/yellower than the picture appears on my screen, but that was fine for my project. Also it arrived nicely packaged and very promptly.
