Barbara's Puffins Honey Rice Cereal, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, 10 Oz Box (Pack of 6)

Searched several stores and couldn’t find this cereal. My son- in-law loves it and the cereal fits his medical needs, stomach problems, etc. O got these for him and he was thrilled! Since then I have found the cereal in several different stores.

I wanted to order Barbaros Puffins, multi-grain, gluten free cereal that I've been using for years, but sadly it was discontinued. This was the closest I could find. It's similar in taste, size and texture, but too much gluten may cause headaches so that's why I prefer the gluten free cereal, but this is second best. The price on-line was much better than in local grocery stores, so I buy them by the carton, 12 boxes in each oder.

Good stuff! Not too sweet

I really like this cereal. I used to get 15 oz at Trader Joes for $3.99. Now it's that price for only 10 oz.

Great with or without milk.

Box arrived and two of six cereal boxes were squashed. One was cut open as with a exacto knife along one seam and had to be taped. The other had a bashed in corner that was soiled as if it had been dropped on the floor. Not very hygienic.

Having food allergies I have trouble finding cereal I can eat. This was a huge find for me, or so I thought. The taste is great! Finally real cereal again. No where did it state that there was any Soy in the ingredients (not when I first purchased it in the store) as it's not located on the box where it should be.I found it on Amazon and bought the 12 boxes to save some money. Looking over the listing briefly to make sure it was the same item. When I started having problems I went back to the description on Amazon only to discover the "Important Health Information" listed at the bottom. This should be ON THE BOX!!!! CONTAINS: SOY. It was written small and stated in was "in the corn". Thankfully someone in my family can eat it so the money is not wasted. But very disappointed in this company. They have a wonderful product, but should have listed the allergen information on the box! This is very dangerous!
