Sorbothane is the most efficient visco-elastic damping solid in the world, invented to mount machinery inside nuke subs. But it must be loaded correctly to perform well. These particular size and formula must have 17-36 pounds of weight on each damper. If you put a car body on them they will fail, and if you put a 10 pound turntable on 4 of these they will not absorb any vibration. In your case 4 feet x 17 pounds each means your amplifier must weigh more than 68 pounds to absorb vibration. If your amp is lighter then get a softer sorbothane formula, like 50 Duro, or use smaller size sorbothane pads, or fewer pads. I use 4 of these under each of my 136 pound speakers.
