I have an 8 year old who complains about neck pain. We purchased this to help keep his neck in a neutral alignment. It definitely helped relieve some discomfort and he wore it on his own for quite a while. It was a little small for him but he's a large 8 year old who wears youth extra large clothing and is 58 inches tall. The material is soft yet supportive. It's made well, identical to what you would get at a medical supply store for a soft cervical collar.

Perfect for kids. I even used it when I had a linked neck. I have an average length neck, on the skinnier size so it worked well for me. The material was soft and comfortable. Have the right about od support without feeling suffocating. Wish they had more designs.

I needed a smaller size collar due to my short neck so I ordered a couple sizes in youth/child size but this one was too small. The collar itself was well-made and would work well for a child. I would recommend it.

This came in very handy when my son pulled his neck jumping on the trampoline. It was just the right size for his 9 year old neck. It was cool having a design he loved that it wasn't plain. He even wore it to school to help when he's reading and constantly looking down.Dislike it didn't have that curve in it most neck braces have.

My small beagle had a terrible neck injury. It have two of these to switch on and off as they get dirty - but this collar keeps her neck safe from further injury. Any chance for a new pattern? Lol

This is a smaller (child) version of an adult neck brace that have. It is a good neck posture aide, when being worn it does not allow for slouching. It also works well as a support for sleeping when sitting up, (planes, trains, automobiles) using the brace eliminates floppy head. It is soft and contoured for comfort. If necessary it can be work overnight. (I suggest seeking medical advise if your child is having neck pain).
