Rawlbolt Special Pack Range M8 X 10 Loose Bolt (Pack of 5)

Well what can i say its a rawbolt ideal for mounting television aerials and satellite dishes on the wall it feels and looks good quality and i will be buying more highly recommended !

Ordered 3 packs of M8 x 10 Rawlbolts BUT one pack contained M6 x 40 Rawlbolts even though the package/bag stated they were M8 x 10 !!!!!!!!!!!!

Initially I made the mistake of drilling the holes deep enough for the anchor. When the bolt (which is longer) reaches the end of the hole, you can't go any further, and when you remove the bolt and try to remove the anchor, the latter tends to fall apart.Also they are very sensitive to the width of the hole - using a 14mm bit (into concrete). Sometimes the anchor was a very snug fit and needed to be encouraged into the hole with a hammer, and sometimes the anchor rotated with the bolt, and I resorted to duct tape round the anchor to stop it rotating.Once you get the hang of it, they seem to work well, but I lost the first three anchors which fell apart while I learned all the above. Thankfully I'd ordered four more than I needed.

Genuine item and fast delivery. FYI you need a 14mm drill bit for these M8 fixings and they will not fit a surface mounted metpost.
