Reliable, re-usable, fun designs! BEATS THE BIC =] If you're tired of going through gas station lighters give these CLIPPERS a try! Since you can refill the gas AND reload the flints, you will end up saving a bunch of money. Plus the landfills will thank you also! I like the rippled wheel and how the entire assembly is replaceable. If your striker or flints fail you can keep your favorite lighter/design and just replace the internals. That is what I've done with my alien Rupert... who has been all along the Extraterrestrial Highway and back without getting abducted or used up and discarded. Try THAT with a Bic ;]

They all worked and are refillable. There is a bit of a lottery effect for the designs. But the flame is strong. The build quality is solid. The size was perfect for my hands and I like the variety of colors.

Great lighters. Replaceable flints and refillable butane. Much better and cheaper than Bic. FYI, shipping is slow because of postal restrictions.

Clipper lighters have an impeccable reputation for good reason. First and foremost, these classic lighters work great! Very reliable, refillable, and the flints can be replaced, so it's nice that these are not strictly disposable. The famous pull-out tamper is another selling point, and it's no wonder why these are favored by smokers who roll their own, whether with tobacco or more interesting alternative substances.The never ending array of colors and designs Clipper offers are great, too. Some people actually collect these, and I see why - they're just plain fun. And of course these are a very good value. I don't smoke tobacco but I always have one of these around. This 9-pack will last me quite a while, but the next time I need lighters I'll almost certainly get more Clippers.
