This is a nice little tractor that I bought as a good luck keepsake for my son starting his apprenticeship with John Deere but I made the mistake of trusting how it looked in the pictures rather than checking out the dimensions or looking at the reviews and it’s tiny!

Ordered on behalf of my sister, she hadn’t checked the details thoroughly enough (clearly influenced by the misleading pictures) & found it’s about the size of a Dinky car. Not what she was after

Maybe use rubber tires instead of plastic SIKU creators.

The other reviews have some truth.1) Small - yes, this is to be expected for this brand. They are useful as travel toys for kids to take with them because they are functional and detailed but not too big.2) Fragile - the fragile bit is the roof of the tractor - be careful and it will last but without the roof it is still a functioning tractor (my lad calls it 'chug chug' for old fashioned looking tractor)3) Expensive - this is what siku costs. Keep a look out of deals or sales. 2nd hand is possible but kids tend to be rough so don't pay full price for 2nd hand unless you get a whole boxload of them! :)

Bright, little John Deere Tractor that moves, my daughter loved it. We used it as a cake topper.

I got this to put on my wee boys farm theme birthday cake. I was surprised at how detailed it is and it looked great on the cake and my son loves to play with it
