I have had a Einhell Bench Saw for years and it has been great so I thought of getting a Bench Drill Press. Assembled it, went to set the speed (opened the lid) and part of the catch fell out, shattered. As the supplier can't deal with spare parts, all they could offer (understandably) was to return the item for a refund. As it was unboxed and fully assembled, and I could "bodge" it to shut, I thought I would try to get the part from Einhell. Emailed them, heard nothing. Having read some other reviews, this does seem to be the norm with Einhell, so my advice: If you think you will need spares/support, buy a different make. This is the last Einhell product I will ever buy. Added 11 April 2023: Had to get a spare for my Table saw and found the only way is to get parts from Germany (nothing stored in the UK). The part was £2.81 but shipping £7.82. Also, it takes forever to get the part (think this is Brexit punishment from EU). I ordered a part for my Einhell table saw on 31st March and this is the latest tracking info:Estimated date of arrival at the post office, 29 Apr 2023 - 10 May 2023, 15 - 26 days remainingThe forecast is not 100% certain, and is based on 41 packages delivered in the last 60 days. Crap really.11 Oct 23. Had to get a new belt for the Drill Press. Only place to get them, Germany. Although via Amazon and they claim 3-4 day delivery, now been told 2-3 weeks delivery. If I order stuff from China, it takes about 1-2 weeks to get here. If I order stuff from Germany, it takes 2-3 week to get here!!! Last time I checked the map, Germany is a lot closer, only reason I can think of is EU Brexit punishment...

It arrived on time. A bit heavier than expected, then I am over 90 yrs old. As it was packaged in pieces and had to be assembled, I could take the pieces to my workshed and assemble insitu, this meant I did not have to carry the package in one go. Fairly easy to assemble and follow the instructions. First few holes were drilled and I am quite happy with the machine; just hope that it outlasts me!

Screws and assembly instructions missing. Ok so the instructions aren't really needed it's relatively simple to assemble. However, the bits that are already assembled are missing screws. As this is to hold the attachment for the aluminum extrusion, that holds the chuck guard, to pass through it's now not usable safely. I (to be honest my partner) now have to go to all the trouble of returning the item to Amazon due to the incompetence of Einhell at manufacturer..... Brill. Then I have to go and find a different drill!
