Not the Best Overall Design But Solid.
Good for HGV filters as they're unpredictably sized and there's a decent amount of space but I can't imagine it'll be of much use on smaller vehicles... I even had some space problems on a Volvo FM12.Typically of filter straps, once it soaks up some diesel or oil, it'll be more prone to slipping. Annoyingly this particular design is more likely to mash up a filter than straps designed for a ratchet as you're using the filter itself for leverage. I did have this happen and had to use a (co-workers) filter socket however the filter was absurdly tight.The positives are: it has a lot of leverage; it's affordable; it'll fit nearly any filter out there.The negatives are: it can mash tight filters; it's prone to slipping; it needs a large amount of space to use effectively (by the time the strap bites on, I've run out of room).
