Wireless Doorbells, Mini, (1 Push +2 Receiver, White)

Absolutely brilliant. I'm fortunate enough to live in a large, three storey, rambling house but unfortunate enough to have two aged, deaf as a post parents so really needed chimes spread all over. Our wired system kept failing and could no longer be repaired so I read every review on Amazon to find these and, oh boy, am I glad I did. I ordered three sets so got six chimes and three bell pushes/transmitters which came by return of post. Amazing. Anyway, two chimes were paired already to a transmitter and it was easy to pair the other four. The instructions said that a different sound would be heard after pressing the chime button for a few seconds but it was the same sound, however, the pairing still worked fine. We spent ages choosing different tunes for different rooms to suit our tastes and, thank you to the person who suggested writing them down as we worked our way through them as that made it easier to go back to the chosen tunes. You do need to cycle through them all in order, though. After we'd chosen, I took the chimes into another room to set them all one by one but hadn't realised that they would lose the selection once I'd unplugged them to move to the desired location and had to reset them once they were plugged into their required locations. Ah, well, lesson learned. We will not unplug nor switch them off, again but, if we do, we have a master list of all the tunes so can get back to them more easily.I was going to screw fix the bell push but so many reviewers said that the sticky tab did the trick well that I gave that a try and fixed it to our UPVC door frame and it's stuck well. If it does ever fall off, I can use the screws then, plus I do have two spares. We wondered if the kinetic energy would reach all the chimes and to the top of the house so we spent some time, running around to check them all and they all ring well and loudly. It is terrific to never have to worry about batteries running down ever again, too. What a bonus. And, the flashing light helps us all, too and having it available to use as a night light is just the icing on the cake. Excellent design.The only issue that we had was our own fault as I set one next to a plug-in transformer for the standard lamp and it interfered with the signal - as the instructions warned me it might so I shifted it away and it works flawlessly. We've left them all on the loudest setting but can alter that to quieter, quietest and silent. The old folks can hear their chime loudly over their tv, at last and none of the tunes makes us jump when they ring. But, best of all, our cat no longer has the screaming ab-dabs when the bell rings as she did with the old bing bong type. She just rolls over and carries on sleeping so we are a very happy household and have not missed a single caller since I fitted them. In fact, they're so much fun, we've rung them a few times just for the hell of it.

We live in a terraced house where, not uncommonly for terraced houses, we don't always hear people knocking on the front door if we're at the back, particularly if the TV or washing machine or something is running and the internal doors are closed. This doorbell solves that problem - great range, controllable volume, astonishing set of ring tones (most of which you would never want to use!), and two receivers. I chose this one because of its relatively high waterproofing rating, because the rain hammers the front of the house and it'd stop working pretty quickly if it wasn't waterproof. We've only just installed it so time will tell on that feature.The only issue found so far is that the screws supplied for wall mounting have raised heads, so they don't sit flat inside the casing. This makes it impossible to put the actual doorbell back onto the clip once screwed in. We had to buy flat screws to use instead, so an improvement would be to supply screws that actually work with the casing. Other than that, great product.

Here are the reasons why this excellent product gets five stars: it is simple to install; it is completely reliable; it has a big bing-bong, which they can hear in the next county; it costs next-to-nothing to run (some of the battery-driven chimes eat batteries like sausages at breakfast-time); the LED flash can be left on as a permanent night light which is very useful; but most important of all to my mind is the fact that THE PARCELS GUYS LIKE IT because it works and they can hear that it does. Many of them hate doorbells because of their unreliability, but this one they like.So everyone's happy. There are probably other doorbells as good as this one, but this is the one I chose because of the good reviews and I am grateful to the good people who wrote them.

The doorbell works. Tick! I cannot comment on using the sticky pad to attach it to a upvc doorframe but IF YOU WISH TO ATTACH THIS UNIT TO A WALL DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. The design is such that the screws provided have too large a head that once the back plate is screwed to the wall the front fascia does not clip on. There's no depth in the unit to actually accommodate the screw heads - ridiculous design. I tried it with different screw sizes before even attaching it to the wall just to double check that was the problem until I ended up having to drill two new holes and fit my own tiny raw plugs and associated flat head screws. A 5 minute job took an hour. Not happy.

This arrived on Thursday and I am definitely pleased. In the past we have nothing but problems with wireless doorbells. The batteries seemed to constantly be drained and then the doorbell would fail. I loved the idea of this one not needing batteries and it works like a dream. The chime is loud and has no problem even though our house is brick built. We used the adhesive provided to stick the doorbell on outside and it has held fast and seems solid on the wall. Looking forward to months of reliable doorbell chimes without the worry of drained batteries.

Bought as a temporary fix, but appears to be excellent quality for £7.99. Both receivers work perfectly and the night light function is a handy addition as one is located on a bedroom landing. Huge choice of chimes and the ringer itself seems secure when just using the adhesive pad. Only down side is that the ringer has the manufacturer logo printed on it which is slightly unsightly. However, probably still one of the best buys I've ever made from Amazon.

I could only get the receivers to ring seperately but not together.I tried different distances even side by side in a double socketbut only one would ring.Sometimes it took 2 pushes of the bell switch to operate(which not many visitors do)and eventually no responsefrom either receiver.I sent it back to Amazon and had a refund.
