RitekExcellence Series' Blank CD-R 52x Full Face White Inkjet Printable 100 Spindle

I over the years have come to use the RITEK DVD and CD software in my home recording . I usually used TDK until they got expensive and finally disappeared. I burn mostly slow speed, and find I have no failure.. The trouble is, after a lengthy time they can and do corrupt, as I have found they do.. I have had all the recording media, in my lifetime, Vinyl, open reel tape,audio cassette tape, Video tapes, and over the years, they get scratched, and worn (vinyl), Audio cassette, and Video tape ( stretched, and then the wow and flutter, but, they ALL played...With the CD and DVD recording system, no such luck, It's a system with these discs, and one cannot tell, their shelf life. Last week I had a CD-R ( I had copied one LP on some years ago), had corrupted, it would not play back on 7 machines. I have found on earlier copies I had done on CD-R, played OK. Some survive and some don't. On this system of home recording, you takes your chances, "Archival" the industry calls it,I have now struck to keeping to the Ritek, but again it's my personal choice, with my fingers crossed.

I Found these CD-Rs of excellent quality and very reliable.

About 20% of the discs in the batch I bought don't burn, making the job of burning a batch of printable discs even more tedious than normal. The CD writer used for the job has burnt enough discs for me to know the writer is fine.
