NLT Personal Size Giant Print Bible, Filament Enabled Edition (Red Letter, Leatherlike, Classic Tan)

I got this lovely Bible as a Christmas gift for my mom! The giant print is so great! It’s made so well and the gold on the edges of the pages is just beautiful.I think my mom will love it!

The Filament app with this Bible has really helped me to engage with the text every day. The NLT is very readable and I use more literal translations such as KJV and NKJV for more in depth study where needed. Highly recommended Bible and nicely finished in tan imitation leather.

I like everything about this bible except ONE thing. The gold gilded edges. I had read another review that said it gets glitter everywhere so I tried to find one that didnt have the gilded edges but wasn’t successful. So I settled with the gilded edges because the bible had all the other attributes I wanted. When I first opened it you could see a metallic shimmer (not exactly glitter) left on your fingers but to be honest I may not have even noticed if I had not been looking for it. I then took a paper towel and rubbed the edges down and it has decreased a lot.I love how easy it is to read this bible and the app is so good! Its like having a study bible without all the bulkiness. Im pretty happy with my purchase. Id definitely like to see more options without the gilded edging in the future

Book comes in a nice sealed package, but.. the package was open.The size of the book is rather small. Calling it "Giant" is an absurd.
