Great value and well made!
Got this to replace a lost cord for an external hard drive and it’s been working great! Had no issues with it whatsoever! The length is perfect for a hard drive you want near your computer or laptop. For me that’s the easiest so I never worry about it falling off my bed or desk.

Just what I needed! Great product
I upgraded my MacBook and require a durable cable that won't risk losing all of my data should an unfortunate accidental unplugged occur. I also had to use a USB-C adapter with my original wire that came with my hard drive and this also led to instability issues.However, the Ugreen cable is very well-made and locks securely into place without the fear of accidental unplugs from bumps or maybe even falls (though I will not be testing that!). Thanks to this simple cable upgrade, I feel that my data and work are in better hands and I can work freely and travel to different working locations with security and reassurance that I can accomplish my tasks. No issues whatsoever!

Great cord 5x my xfer speed
This item i didn't know I needed. I have an old 8tb spinning hard drive and my transfer speed was about 30 Mbps. When I got this cord I thought I made a mistake about to return it until I realized my old drive has this connector. Well my transfer went from 30 to 180! What a great cord and it fits in my USB C port! I am grateful that I made the "mistake" of ordering this. It's great quality.

Good cable but probably won’t increase your speed
I’m giving this four out of five stars, because it works fine, however the description (and some reviews) seem to indicate it will make your hard drive faster. While I did not buy it specifically to make it faster, I did test it.I have a Western Digital Elemenrs USB drive, and when connected using the stock USB-A cable, connected to a USB SS labeled port on my laptop, I get read and write scores of around 80 MB/s (using Crystal Disk Mark). When I connect using the stock USB cable to my laptops USB-c/thunderbolt port and a USB-C hub, I get around 80 MB/s, and when I use this cable to that same port, I get the same 80 MB/sPerhaps there are some USB drives that WILL see increased speeds, but I don’t believe that most will, since most of the HDDs using this port are likely USB 2.0 at best.Either way, it works to connect my drive to my Windows laptop, my iPad, and my iPhone.
