The Equalizer watch.
Very cool watch.Brought this as a Christmas present for my brother and he loves it.He saw it in the the Denzel Equalizer films and liked the look of it. This is identical to the one Denzel wears. However, the stopwatch display does differ to the one in the films, not as big. It's comfy and not too heavy, and so far seems durable enough. It's a well made timepiece and keeps time accurately, has loads of functions to boot for the adventurous types out there or for people that like gadgets such as altimeter, barometer, thermometer and compass. It's good value for money for a watch of this kind.

Stylish
This is a great sturdy watch. An alternative to smart watches and possibly a foil for casio. For those looking for something different. It's lightweight, fits comfortably on the wrist great value for money. The display isn't very readable. It needs to be back lit. This is a stylish looking watch

Works as it should. Excellent item.
I have had watches that supposedly had a barometer and measured the weather but they never worked properly. This one is different.During a recent trip, the pressure changes while driving through the mountains or flying were picked up, and a 5 beep alarm showed the "storm" warning. Clearly the watch does not know the rapid drop is due to me driving through the mountains, but I am glad it is very accurate. This watch is a great asset for anyone who wants to know things accurately. The thermometer works fine as well. This is a recommended item.

Useful Watch.
The Suunto Core watch has a sleek black design, which looks great on the wrist. The watch requires little use to get familiar with settings. Once set up, it calibration appears to hold reasonably well and recalibrating the compass is simple by spinning the watch on its face. The compass can take a little time to update when adjusting position but it will correct within a few seconds.24 and 12 hour formats are available via settings and their are plenty of measurement alternatives in both metric and imperial or you may mix and match settings.Using the 8 o'clock positioned button you can easily view the date, seconds, secondary time zone, dawn and dusk times based on your manually set location, stopwatch and countdown timer, the countdown timer can be slightly fiddly to adjust though this can be accessed in the time-date settings along with the secondary watch for timezones. The display is dim by design which is easily viewable in my opinion holding at the correct angle, however, during day tapping the 4 o'clock button will provide a green backlit display. A lot of users complain of this but thinking tactically this is an advantage as it's not emitting light unless you are ready to do so.The alti/baro meters appear to be easily calibrated, I used Google Earth. The watch also has a storm alert system which can be used to gauge if weather is going get bad.The watch comes with 2 extra strap holders spare which is good should one start to wear or if one inadvertently snapped though the watch overall feels durable and light on the wrist.

Fit for purpose
I have been looking at purchasing one of these for a while now and have in the past made do with my trusty G-Shock. I finally took the plunge after researching the product on numerous wed sites and reviews from friends and colleagues. Now I have got it I won't go back.I am currently serving in Afghanistan and I have found it a necessary bit of kit to have with me before going out on the ground. I have seen plenty of reviews questioning the display and I can say that even in the bright sunlight I have had no problems reading the time, the display is big and clear and can be read at a glance. The compass has come in handy on a number of occasions although I do double and triple check this using a GPS and standard compass but it has never given me a false reading. The sunset / rise alarm has been useful when out on the ground and lets me know when to either stop or get going. The altimeter application hasn't really had much use but the couple of times I have been up in the mountains it has given a similar reading to the GPS so the figures are accurate. The thermometer doesn't really get used apart from to tell me that it is ridiculously hot during the day and cold at night something I am all to aware of already. The watch is comfortable to wear and doest rub on the skin and is easily cleaned. All round a great watch with many uses on the job and I am sure I will have use for it when I return to the UK. I would recommend this watch to both military and civilian personal.
