Majestic by Springbok 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Paris Street Life - Made in USA - Compact Box

The puzzle a very nice colorful Paris streetsScene. The 1000 piece puzzle is well madeand the pieces fit together easily.

Because this puzzle cost so little, I was curious to see what it was like. As other customers have noted, the box does not have the word “Springbok” on it at all. Although it says it is manufactured in the United States, the plant must be using worn out, cast-off machinery. The cardboard is thinner than most (all?) brands; the cut edges are not clean; and 10-20% of the pieces were stuck together. There is also more cardboard dust than most other brands. I guess the bottom line is, you get what you pay for. If you want a decent puzzle, spend the money it takes to buy one that has Springbok stamped on the box or else buy another brand. I will not buy another “Majestic” puzzle, and I may not buy another Springbok again either. Shame on Allied Products Corporation for producing such a poor quality product. I am embarrassed that it says “Made in the USA” on it.

Doing the puzzle right now

The puzzle lacks in quality, pieces do not fit perfectly as it should in a puzzle. The puzzle also came with the image cut in about 2 inches in the right hand side of it.

I have more than 30 puzzles and I would say that Springbok puzzles tare my favorite puzzles, I am color blind and I have a problem matching pieces. When I cannot match pieces by color, I can match them match the pieces buy matching by the unique shape of the pieces.

Puzzle was not cut completely through preventing pieces from snapping together. Had to push into place .Puzzle has musty odor.Picture doesn’t match puzzle.

I like that the puzzle was hard - lots of intricate and unusual pieces, which I like, but the quality of the pieces just wasn’t as good as other puzzles I’ve bought. In my family we keep puzzles for years and rework them during holidays. This one will not hold up over time, otherwise it is an enjoyable challenge.
