Great sounding "budget" record player that benefits from Audio Technica stylus
I am new to collecting and playing vinyl records. I grew up with them but hadn't looked back since tapes/CDs/digital. However, after hanging out with a friend that was an avid vinyl nerd, I decided to venture in. After doing thorough research (and chatting more with my friend), I ended up going with the Electrohome option. And boy, have I been very happy!Where to even start! First of all, the setup was super easy. There's an instruction manual that walks through the process, and it's pretty comprehensive. I recommend using a digital scale to help determine the weight of the arm. The counterweight was easy to install and adjust, but you're just guessing at home many turns to get it right without a scale to verify.Due to the Audio Technica stylus, this thing sounds great! As others have pointed out, you do need speakers or a decent sound system to use this record player - there are no built-in speakers. But the pre-amp is more than adequate, allowing me to hook it up to a Bose system. And, as I said, it sounds phenomenal.Build quality is also quite high, and the player goes well with any styled home. It has a mid-century vibe to it, which I like.At some point, I may decide to upgrade to a higher-end player, but honestly, this may work as a long-term option - it really is that good!

For a basic turn table can't ask for any better
I only have this turn table for 3 days. The set up was very easy for me since I remember the old days of analog audio . I had great sound systems including many top of the line turn tables. At my old age of 88 with hearing aids, I decided to try and listen to some albums that my friend gave me. Well! I can't stot playing them. The sound is amazing compare to the garbage in today's digital sound. I have a very good reciever with buil in phono preamp but I was hearing a slight hum from my very good Paradign speakers. So I descide to use the turn table built in preamp and conected it to the aux input on my reciever. The hum is gone and I can't tell any defference in sound quality. Although I have nohing to compere it with.Unless you're young and do a lot of critrical lestning, This turn table it's all you need.

It's not automatic. You need to move the tone arm. It is auto stop.
This is just a nice intro turntable. It's not great, but it does what I wanted from an inexpensive turntable. It's worth the money.

Stylus falls off easily, came in broke
Stylus came in broken, and it says to pull but you can’t even pull on it without it falling, also I think it is worth its money if it doesn’t come in broken like mine did. The sound quality is probably good, and the use of it it’s probably easy, speed no clue cause it’s broken, and the Bluetooth connectivity I don’t know how to use that either.

Nicely built..
“SWEET” 👍This turntable goes perfect with my setup . The amplifier that this turntable hooked up to , is 100% tubes( home built) . With klips speakers. My setup , consist of reel to reel tape recorder, cassette player, and a cd player. CD’s sounds awesome thru a tube amplifier. It’s nice to breakout all my old LPs, the go back to the 50s , 60s, and 70s rock & roll , Country, sound tracks ,etc.Love that analog sounds. Like I said it”SWEET “

Noisey
With a phono preamp and grounded it makes a high pitched noise at high volumes. With the built in preamp on it makes a low hissing noise. Wow and flutter are a bit annoy. It only takes 5 minutes to set up and get you playing albums. The tone arm lock is a joke. Felt mat is low quality. Used a Fosi amp and Dayton 652 speakers and a Jbl subwoofer and sound is decent. Recommend a record weight and an acrylic mat for the decent sound. Counter weight works but is cheaply made. The wood plinth is beautiful.

A quality turntable at a great price!!
This turntable worked great with my amplifier that didn't have a dedicated 'phono' input. By using the built-in preamp I got to listen to all my collection of vinyl thru my Denon amplifier.
