In all but one area, I was quite pleased with this kit. In the last several months, I have ordered and built a dozen or more soldering kits like this one from Amazon. This one has the LEAST quality circuit board of them all by an order of magnitude. This circuit board is VERY flimsy and bendable and other than "looking" like a circuit board, it certainly doesn't feel like one. With that out of the way, this was a fun kit to build. The components and directions were labeled clearly and of good quality, as I have come to expect from these kits. The final product is as advertised. It works wonderfully. The main problem I see with this kit is likely something that beginners could have trouble with. I suspect the moment this board is subjected to desoldering/solder wicking and general redoing of things, things will go downhill quickly with it. I will say, though, I did NOT have any issues with it as I am not a beginner, and things went together just fine. Just a word of caution.

Over all this is an easy solder project. It comes with good instructions and a QR code that leads to a pdf file with colorful step to step pictures. Even without instructions, one can easily just follow the marks on the PCB.Make sure to check ALL the LED lights! Mine has two broken ones out of 50. I skipped the check up and had to resold them. Luckily there are plenty extra LEDs in the package.

Not a bad kit for relatively cheap. Online instructions were easy to follow and perfect for practicing soldering. Even got the chance to debug some of the LEDs. Only complaint was that the frame didn't fit the board, so I had to cut parts of it away. Overall, had a fun time though and got a cool pair of glasses!

Included instructions are in chinese, english instructions can be found though and there are a couple tips in there you may want see if you dont have experience putting kits like this together(or even if you do, a couple parts have specific placement that may not be completely obvious). I also received red leds but I ordered green. I cant tell where in the chain that mixup occurred. Other than that it looks like a good kit, great for giving to a kid. I would give more stars if it had English instructions included and received the right color.Edit- I am in contact with the seller and they are looking into the problem with the wrong color being sent. They did offer to send another one but I'm not to bothered by the color. Hopefully they sort it out quick and you get the right color.

The media could not be loaded. A fun practice project. Perfect for getting the rust off after a long time without using an iron. It really could use a diffuser as I just about blinded my wife with them the first time, I used them.You’re going to need a few things to finish this project other than a soldering iron. At minimum you will need wire cutters and surprisingly, solder. I have used kits like this in the past that came with a bit of solder, so I was a little surprised that this kit lacked solder. I guess times are tough for everyone. Other than those two, it will be helpful but not required if you have a multi meter and something to hold the board in place while you work on it.Some components shipped with extra parts, and some had the exact number required. Directions were mostly comprehensible. If you have experience in electronics or have someone close at hand who does, then you shouldn’t have issues with assembly.

Shipped fast.. nice little project to introduce your child to electronics.. my daughter really enjoyed it, it was very rewarding for her.. definitely recommend 👍
