I ordered this for a little girl, friends of my family. I sent to her because I was hoping it would encourage her to do some journaling - we are working together (tutoring reading sort of thing) to make up for some of the lost time with teachers at school due to all this crazy downtown with covid, to take the pressure off her Mom who is working full time and trying to keep her little ones focused on learning. So the hope from here is to help to build her daughter's reading and writing skills. I hoped the bright colors of this kit would inspire her so I sent it along with a journal, and a learn to draw book. I learned the pens were the actually the biggest hit, this little girl happens to love to draw, very artistic, and I was thrilled to hear that she was immediately breaking them out to create her art AND using them to write in her brand new journal. Great kit, affordable and very much the hit for this little girl. Would absolutely order again.

I am not an artist and this is my first time purchasing gel pens. The pens were very affordable so I gave them a try. I tried them on my color book made for adults and they bled. I tried them on cards made to color and the bleeding was worse on the card stock. Part of the problem is me and my lack of experience. I have since learned that the type of paper used can make a big difference. Also, one should color top to bottom and from left to right (if right handed). The ink in these pens stays wet and must dry completely before you color the next section or it will smudge.I gave this set of 24 gel pens 3 stars because all of them worked, the colors stayed true when dry, and the case is very handy.I deducted 2 stars because the ink acts like paint, bleeds, smears easily and needs an exceedingly long time to dry. I have to dry each section over night before coloring the next area to minimize bleeding and smudging.I would not recommend this set as a gift and would not give it to children because of the potential mess of wet ink.UPDATE: Had a friend visit and we tried the gel pens on Psalms cards to color. She is very experienced and her work also bled and smeared. She thought about buying some for herself but changed her mind after trying them. I upgraded to 5 stars after finding a technique that works.

I almost fell into the trap of buying a kit of gel pens and coloring post cards that were offered by a gift (junk) supplier at my workplace, but I was smart and read the reviews on that brand. Then I remembered my childhood gel pens, which would often just quit working when there was still plenty of ink left. So, I searched reviews on Amazon and bought this set for my 8 year old daughter, and she absolutely loves them. She's had them for one month. We printed out postcard sized gel pen coloring pages on card stock, and put them in the pack behind her gel pens, so everything is all ready for her to grab and go. This is our go-to "busy" item when we're going somewhere. They write really smoothly. She hasn't run out of ink yet in any of the colors, and she has fully colored 12 post cards, plus some other stuff. She has used about 2/3 of the sparkly blue already, which is the color she uses the most, just to give you an idea of how long they last. Fortunately, there are 3 other blues (not sparkly) to use once it's gone. So happy with this purchase!

Quality product and fast shipping

This is a very good value. I bought it for my class since no one ever has a pen and we also like to do coloring projects at times. I love the way the pens glide along so smoothly. I thought that for the price I paid, they may not be the best quality. I was very pleasantly surprised! There are two reasons that I didn't give it 5 stars: 1) The pouch that they come in is flimsy and after I tried several of them out, I couldn't snap one of the snaps. (There are two.) Also, for my purposes, the lighter colors are nearly impossible to see: pale yellow, pale green for example. These are not good for taking notes, however, I feel that they may be very useful in coloring book use or greeting card use. These pens also have a bit of a sparkle, which was very nice.

I like to doodle. I don't know how long the ink in these will last, but they are pretty colors and fun to use.

Good value, fast receipt! I ordered one set first for a 10 year old girl, then was so happy with having received it so quickly I ordered another set for my grandson. The set was perfect for my needs, visually impressive, and arrived so quickly I was able to reorder and re-ship it myself for Christmas. Slim minimal packaging was ideal to wrap and slip in an already crowded box. I can’t speak to quality as these are gifts and untried to date. I’m confident they are good.

They are GREAT for adult coloring and bring so much life to the pictures! Each stroke using Glitter Gel Pens are even and smooth. I'll definitely purchase again when the time comes to replace!
