American English File Second Edition: Level 1 Student Book: With Online Practice 2nd Revised ed. Edition

It is a great book. If you have any difficulties learning a language as a beginner, this is the right book to start on it.

Overall good quality. I ordered it for my cousin which helped her pass a course.

I have been teaching a class using the first edition of this book. This year with new students, I wanted an additional copy to add to those already in use. I found, though, that the two editions are so different that it would be difficult to use both editions at the same time. I'll switch over to the second edition soon. These are the best ESL books that I have found--very thorough and relevant. Students like them, too!
