Forgecraft USA Forged Warren Hoe with Long American Fiberglass Handle! Assembled in U.S.A.

In the summer, our farm's soil gets very hard due to lack of rain. We also have grass that is constantly growing into garden beds like a weed. I was looking for a sturdy tool that could get through the hard-packed soil and remove the deep-rooted grass. I bought this hoe, and once we tried it, we loved it so much that we bought a second one a year later. We often had two people wanting to use it in the same time period because it's so useful.Because the point is below the handle, the full force of a chop into the soil goes into that point (unlike using the edge of a normal, square hoe). This allows it to break into hard soil, weedy patches, or get into tight spots. You can either chop up the soil or chop in and then drag the hoe toward you. The slight curve to the hoe toward the back makes it work like a plow: it turns the dirt over in a furrow. The hoe head is also long enough to get at the roots of the pesky grass and other weeds. I've been using this hoe for over a year now with no problems. It makes life easier for this hobby farmer--thank you!

I love the precision this hoe gives me. The is now no space in my garden that I can't cultivate with this fantastic hoe. Super construction, solid and zero buyers remorse. Why wasn't I told how cool this tool is before now.GRIZ in Seattle.

Easy to use and well made. The only downside is the rubber piece that covers end of handle comes off too easily. I don't want to glue on, but will get some friction tape and wrap.

This is a good hoe. I like this hoe. I sleep with this hoe underneath my pillow. Maybe that's why I cant sleep at night. Awesome quality. Makes me feel like the pimp I never thought I would be. Can tell its forged. Am not looking forward to the day it breaks. then I have to buy a new hoe. So far so good though, I mean, for a hoe.

Excellent hoe. Love it. Works great and is very sturdy. I wish the handle was shorter though. I'm only 5'3". But that's okay. I love this hoe.

Liked everything, disliked nothing.This hoe will still be good to use 50years from now!!

I like it. It works good. Great for digging trenches. What I don't like is the cap on the handle was missing when I opened the box (so one less star). I know from experience with other tools that my hand is going to go over the end and it will begin to hurt after awhile. So I have to find something to comfortably cap the end. I hate having to fix NEW stuff.
